this is a tv show in reality the thrust of the lunar module’s engine was incredibly low on top of this the engine would be shut off a meter or two from the surface also in a vacuum they exhaust of the engine is spread out at a 90 degree angle from the nozzle as soon as it exits the nozzle

Note the complaint of the H3 renewable energy. Thing is, you upset the energy sector by phasing it out too quickly, and you'll cause massive financial strain. Normally a strong economy can bear it, but in our current economy with the only thing keeping multiple sectors going right now is the belief that they will (which is a "benefit" of a fiat currency), if investors get scared at the collapse of one market, the others will go with it. Phasing out oil by 2035 is impossible, and you're destroy civilization in the process, because we it starts to see losses, the residential and commercial real estate markets with collapse, along with our current infrastructure issues and finally our coming inability to payback even the interest on our national debt. We're basically fucked. Tell me how wrong I was in 5-10 years.

I can’t think of a better song to play during this turning point in the series. Perfect.
All of season 3 was rough, but the beginning and the end in different ways. First few episodes felt so internally adversarial (and made me start to lose interest because of it, but I'm glad I stuck it out), like it was all falling apart, and the last part of the season the exact obverse (the secession of hostilities, but god was it a kick in the gut).
