Engineering to farm is what it's about.
In my channel i show you everything we do to farm our appleorchards, and to get our machinery going to make our life easier, and get a higher producitvity out of our orchards.

The final days of harvest
In this video we will end the harvest season.
We did have a really good yield on the Elstar this season and also most of the other varieties did very nice.

Een van mijn favoriete appels. Lekker fris.
What a fitting banger!
Thx for the great vid as always :) .
Hi. Great work :) What rootstock are those trees on?
Idk, i think its kweepear, but these trees are very old, so im unsure.
@@JelleStappers how old are the trees?
@Damon590 40-50 years. Replanted here 20 years ago.
Happy harvest Jelle, the apples so awesome😍, must be the taste so 😋😋
Hello, I have problems with my Peljob LS2000. Sometimes when I push the left joystick backwards, nothing happens. It feels like air in the system. But sometimes it's working. And something it's like "stick/slip". Do you have an idea? Do I have problem with load sensing?? Thanks
Can you measure your Ls pressure while this happens? Need to know it the pressure remains equal, or fluctuates during the dtick/slip. Is it only on your left joystick? Also measure ls pressure while using other functionalities. And measure the standbypressure for me. You measure that on the valveblock while opersting nothing.
Btw, left joystick backward is pull in arm. Does this haplen worse if the arm is moving down instead of up? If it falls it could pull your standbypressure to 0 resulting in 0 ls pressure causing you to not have oil. A drozzle of x size hole could fix that.
@@JelleStappers how can I measure that pressure?
@@JelleStappers that could be the problem it's only when I move down. Up all is okay. Where I have to install the drozzle? Inflow line or return line ? Or in both ?
@1234ernst if it's only down, then please give a thought, when you dig, when do you actually move that part of the boom towards you? Cause i always start that movement when i touch ground, therefor i know the issue is there, but i never note it. If you install a drozzle it would have to be on the pistonside of the cilinder, drozzle can be fairly big, it should only really keep the standby pressure up. If you can manage without, that would be better as you keep a higher downmove speed if speed is your priority.
Replace starter and you'll be fine

Amazing orchard, a lot of work invested and result is awesome , congrats and many thanks for making these great videos. Cheers from Lettland 👋
good job ☺
Thx!
AMAZING! i thought of this and did a youtube search and here it is. Thank You
Its a good way to market quality stuff directly to the customer. And people can buy stuff quickly while we don't have empllyee cost. Fruit doesnt get handled more then required as customer buys what we packed from the big bin.
@@JelleStappers have you finished the new shed yet?
@Mr_Damion_Scott check my vids 😁. This vid is 1.5 year old. The new shed is out for a year already, functioning very well.
Really awesome while see that Red color on your orchard when harvest season😍😍😍
Thanks for the videos. Hope my apple tree in the back garden will be as productive!
hello my friend. i would like to buy all your products. give me your contact number.
G'day great looking harvest and nice video mate
Thanks! I try to show what we do while keeping the videos a bit varying, sometimes thats difficult😅.
did you do everything by experience or did you have some kind of shop manual? Amazing job, I am restoring an opel ascona A with the same engine, and this video will help me a lot.
Well, i experienced it on the go. But i know enough about engines to know what im doing. If you do the first one yourself you know how to do it next time 😉
Ik zou mn engels een beetje ophalen gast
Lekkere appels die Elstar
Absoluut 😋
Great job 💪 /nice, simple but practical picking machine 👍🙂/ Greetings from Bulgaria 🙋♂
Yes, pluk-o-trak is the perfect harvesting machine for apples, simple and very efficient. And the people love working with it.
is bro dutch i think your dutch im dutch
J,ai eu 3 voiture comme ça .a l époque ça ne valais pas chère et c'étais sympa😊
Well it still aint worth much and still is fun 😂
Keep up the good work bro I always appreciate a fellow mechanic
flow restrictor, adjustsble too
Jup, but this one is fixed, so nobody can mess it up😉
How much did it cost if I may ask? Can't wait to see how it runs with the rebuilt pump!
It runs 😁. Check the linked video
Trai nay chắc ngon lắm
Watch out for the kut of the slut
I’m novice too, we all start somewhere brother
Better blade and new bearings and this will run true
And who's that pop punkie band that is playing in the beckground? I played with my band as a support for de Heideroosjes back in 1995.
Its actually AI generated as that is for my videos more convenient to get a fitting song. But i know the heideroosjes, thats just 15km from our place
Is that M9 rootstock? How old are the trees? Good video, close to the apples ❤
4 years old. Idk the rootstock. The variety is very new, so they dont share alot of info about it.
Ah the dutch. Always on the lookout for a good cut
everyone makes a slide table for there saw. hundreds on TH-cam
Nice
Be careful with that trapped piece of wood
Nice dude finish carpenter here. Sleds are great! Also make a push stick and never let go of the piece that is up against the fence. If you let go it can run up the fence hit the top of the blades of the piece and throw it back at you. Its called kick back!
I know, this was the very first use for me. I got push sticks etc now to control the parts. Haven't had an accident in the 6 years i got it now yet.
Love the steenkool english 😂
Thanks 🤣.
Tape off your cut area with painters tape and use the push through thats provided with the saw so that little piece doesnt shoot back at you
Are jonagored fairly disease resistant?
No. They have alot of issues. We have thrown these out 2 years ago. It's a bad variety for todays standard. We got rid of all the jona luckily enough.
@@JelleStappers Thanks, if you grow any of these apples, would you recommend pinova, rubinette, gala, elstar, pirouette, jonagold or alkmene?
@@markdooley7942 🤣. Pinova, pirouette and jonagold are no good. All 3 issue apples. We had 3 hectare of pirouette 15 years ago, we threw em out for jonagored, no good either. We have pinova as pollinator, a nice hard apple but caught up by better varierties and the yield is low with often quality issues. Elstar is alot of work, and only good if your climate is good for elstar, its a soft apple... but it needs to be hard to be good which is hard to get it like that.
@@JelleStappers ha, you're ruining all my plans for my little orchard. what apple, pear and plum trees do you recommend for cool climates (cooler summers than you get)?
If you have a small orchard with not picky customers, you can have a row of pinova and pirouette but i wouldn't do more. Dont do jonagored, diseases would spread. I defenitly recommend wellant and elstar eke, 1 row of delbar, 1 row boskoop, 1 row zari, 1 row santana (allergic free), and if you got the ability to get these also the wursixo and wurtwinning. And i recommend you to fish at your tree supplier to get some new experimental varieties, you don't know what you get then, but you can find gems in that. As long as you don't plant massive amounts of the varieties where i mentioned 1 row, you should be fine.
Finaly you made a video close to the apple it's self. Keep posting videos of spraying, pruning, grafting, transplanting ect. 🎉
Thanks. Well alot of videos have closeups of the apples. Problem is that most viewers dont seem to care that much about that. It's hard to make the content right😅.
@@JelleStappers We don't need drones flaying over machinery and orchard. More closeups of the fruit itself, bark, leaves, what's the rootstock, history and specifics of the presented apple...
Another great video my friend👌🏼 Question: What make and model of overhead sprinkler do you use in your orchard? And what spacing do you have them at?
I think it's mostly naan233, spacing should be between 15-20 meters, depending on your water pressure. We run typically at 5 bar, but the farther away the fields are from the watersource the lower the pressure is, so there is fields which only get 2 bar.
@@JelleStappers any problem with them freezing up at low temperatures? Like at -9C?
@@JelleStappers also, what volume of water do you use on your sprinklers? Front and back? As they have 2 exits am I right?
@@optimafruit3524 we never had colder the -8, but no signs then no. Pressure has to be high enough to prevent this, and our water is ussualy not that cold as it cones from deep wells into our waterpool and then sprinkle it.
@@optimafruit3524 1 exit. About 1.5m3 per sprinkler per hour.
R joe from the netherland by any chance?
I must be hiding my accent very well if you have to ask 😜. Yes.
R joe from the netherland by any chance?
are you scandinavian?
Im dutch, for all i know😁. My name is a typical dutch name, hard to pronounce in english.
@@JelleStappers hahaha wist het niet zeker makker, succes met je youtube kanaal!
What was the problem or issue on the Peljob why are you working on the pump?
The pump was requesting oil at all times, so it overheats the engine and costed lots of diesel and annoyong noise. That cilinder in the pump that got loose was hard to figure that one out. This was a really annoying problem, got me awake for months🙃, happy that i fixed it, now the machine runs like a dream😁
Merhaba case quantum 95n den memnun musunuz acaba bende almayı düşünüyorum tavsiye eder misiniz alırken nelere dikkat etmeliyim
We are statified with it, it does have some maintenance points, but all tractors have. Ours is heavily equiped with higb volume oil pumps, 5 oil valves and most of the available options to make it a heavy duty tractor. We did have to build a shield arround the whole bottom of the tractor for mulching work, and especially our heavy buschmulcher.
@@JelleStappers peki herhangi bir kronik sıkıntısı varmı acaba yada power suhutle nin ve düğmeli buçuk özelliğinin bilindik bir sıkıntısı varmı
For us it works fine. But you need to calibrate it sometimes, the manual explains how that works. We havent worn that out too much yet.

That AI music is very funny!
i love how this turned out aswell :)
You chose the music well for this film. I will finish harvesting this week, there is still Red delicous left. Have you finished harvesting yet?
Thanks! The editing is costing alot of time, not my biggest hobby, but has to be done to make it work😅. We finished this week except for the wurtwinning, but they need another pick this week and another one in 2-3 weeks.
Hello do you have a work manual from the Peljob ls 2000 ??
Unfortunaly i do not. U really wish i had, but nope. Somebody did send me the hydraulic and electric schematic however.
@@JelleStappers can you send me the hydraulic and electric schematic ?
@1234ernst should be possible yes. Do you have a pel job ls2000 yourself?
@@JelleStappers Thank you, that would be very nice. Yes I also have a ls 2000. I bought it last week.
Can you send it via email?
