I am a enthusiastic/hobbyist musician who likes to make songs mostly in the chiptune style! Here in my channel you can check out some of my tunes that I made trough the years that i've been active here.
If you would like to use one or more tracks made by me in your projects, you can, but please give me credit if it gets used.
Also, a quick disclaimer: If you pretend to use the tracks from "The Stars Above The Sea" or want to use the song "Mountain Sunrise" in any video of any kind, youtube content id might appear in your video, but dont worry, it isn't a copyright strike and won't cause any major problems.
Also, feel free to cover any track of mine if you feel like too!
Discography:

This is the first track of my "On the Walk of the Unknown" album, originally inspired by a video made by ctrix/debuglive that told about the cheapest midi setup in the late 80's. Later on, I made the second track of the album (as a side b of this one, so that's why they sound so similar) and then came the idea of really making out an entire full lengh album, wich was done in the last week of oc...

Originally, the intro idea was written before I have even gotten the inspiration to make this album. Later, I reused it on this song here. And also, as a coencidence, since this is the fifth track of the album right after "The Jazzy Sunset", it gives a clean transition between these tracks, because coencidentially, one ends with pads only and the another one starts with them isolated. Well, thi...

I saw that one on your topic.
Same.
Aside from Thriller by Michael Jackson, it was slightly different from different tracks. You've been goated over the years of making industry 6 years ago! 🎹✨👾
Whats the inspiration? Asking because I working on my own tracks
@@tankprosimporum7815 For this one (nd mountain sunrise), it was a video made by a TH-camr that goes by the name of ctrix/debuglive, wich did show the "cheapest home studio of 1988" wich was both the inspiration for the equipment I used on the album and also, the tracks (because that video had some bangers).
@@YgorGpretty neat. Thanks
I wouldn't have discovered this one without the tracker view. Nice work!
Your the only person to make a olliscope deconstruction of this song and upload it on yt please don't delete this ❤
Hmm. The tune definitely fits the name you gave it. It's good, I just feel like sometimes I have to get used to a song before I like it a whole lot.
That's a surprisingly high bpm! I thought it was like HALF that speed! I've listened to this before through "Ygor. G - Topic", and I love it for sure! 💚☀🌄
Maybe it’s because it helps place “human” rhythms?
@@PearFinch I don't know. My brain simply perceived the track as slower, because it's sorta chill sounding.
@ethanmerrikin1544 Well, I like tracking in high speeds even though some of my songs sound slow. That's probably why it looks like that! Ah, and also, this was before I stared using 128 as the length for the patterns too!
@@PearFinch That too is true! Since I make most of my tracker songs in high speed, it allows for some better note placement (even on the drums) so that they can look a bit more realistic!
@@YgorG Hmm, neat.
0:06 Is that string instrument a and PCM sample? It couldn’t be fm, could it?
fantastic!
This is just incredible, I don't think I have any words for it really, its just great... This should be in a Nintendo game!! It reminds me Adventure time for some reason, I think its the intro theme of that Xbox 360 game, I used to play, "Adventure time: E.t.d.b.i.d.k". You should've put this at the end of the album haha. :D It definitely feels like an outro theme!
Beautiful use of all four systems!
@@fm_am4n Thanks!
impressive😊
Whats kawai k1
A budget synthesizer made by the company kawai, meant to be a somewhat low-cost alternative to the expensive sample and/or LA synthesis keyboards and modules from that time!
@@YgorG What software do you use to emulate the K1, MT-32 and OPL2?
@@uhu4677 For MT-32 I use munt. For the Kawai K1 there is a free vst out there that I don't recall the name of, but you can find it pretty easily. OPL2 can be emulated inside of OpenMPT or with vsts if you like, being examples the JuceOPLvst or ADLplug!
@@YgorG Thx. You probably mean the K1v plugin for the Kawai. I also used JuceOPL and VOPM (for OPM), but I am still searching for something with a better GUI. It would be so cool to have an all-in-one Yamaha FM chip plugin similar to what we have in Furnace.
@uhu4677 Yep! That's the K1 plugin that I was talking about! Yeah, having a tool like that would be quite neat indeed tbh. I am not used that much to MML to test some chips that aren't in furnace (like the YMF271) but if learned how to use it, making a tune with these other Yamaha sound chips outside of furnace would indeed quite be fun.
Not everything has to be a masterpiece to be a work of art, just remember that. ; )
This is quite a powerful statement and yep, I really agree! Not everything needs to be a masterpiece all the time to be considered as an art!
Roland MT-32 and YM3812 are chips used for the MS-DOS.😊
Good stuff 👍
@@tobikomi5018 Thanks!
0:00 i just love the bottom right channel
quality peak (how is this samples) pads actually sell the vibe so hard and the leads oh my god peakkkkkkkkk (also the weird timpani lead thing has a kirby sound to it) the ending was... gonna be real here, felt mildy bland after everything else (i partially think its the clock sound, or the beat itself at the end) still a groove overall for me 100/10 quality
I always love your Open MT songs in particular!
I'm glad that you appreciated it!
@@YgorG I meant to say Openmpt lol. Also, this song really sounds like some Dreamcast era, Sonic Adventure type song! I don't know if I'm thinking of something else, but its what came to mind.
@ethanmerrikin1544 Yeah! And also, there is a remix that I made that makes it sound something like mania-esque too!
DAMN this sounds really good
That’s an eclectic combination of chips! How did you come up with it?
@@arashikou6661 That combination came in mind based on a video made by ctrix/debuglive that told about the cheapest midi setup of 1988!
Now that's sound with full brightness on 🔥
Wonderful combination.
If we go one step further, we could add the sound chip from the 32X it only added two channels one left and one right and it was software mixed through an on board SH2 and because of the short life of the 32X only two games, used it tempo and tough man contest so in total the Sega Genesis tower of power would have 22 channels of FM audio that’s more channels of audio than letters in Segas marketing welcome to the next level

You know what's funny? I made a comment mentioning that exact thing, and now I've come back to this song a month later, and I don't know why I didn't like the intro before!
You finished it!
@@fingerknight27 Yeah!
I think the OPZ YM2414 is a cool chip to work with.
The YM2414, a.k.a. OPZ, is an eight-channel sound chip developed by Yamaha. It was used in many mid-market phase/frequency modulation-based synthesizers, including Yamaha's TX81Z (the first product to feature the chip and was named after it), DX11, YS200 family, the Korg Z3 guitar synthesizer, and many other devices. A successor was released as the upgraded OPZII/YM2424, used only in the Yamaha V50. The chip was used in the PortaTone PSR-80 and PSR-6300, the Yamaha TX81Z rack-mounted FM synthesizer, the Yamaha DX11, DSR1000 and 2000, YS100, YS200 and DS55 synthesizers, the TQ5 Tone Generator and the Yamaha EMT-1 half-rack FM Sound Expander module. It was also used in the Yamaha WT11 wind tone generator. Its upgraded variant, the YM2424 (OPZII), was used exclusively in the Yamaha V50 music workstation.
I had to edit my comment because I had a number in square brackets.
The intro is fine. It's part of the composition and can't be separated from the rest. I like the thing as a whole.
The into isn't my favorite, but it's great after that! 😁👍
