Another excellent breakdown of a notable draft prospect! Thanks!!!
Appreciate your support as always!
hell yeah Floor and Ceiling videos always hit
🤝🤝🤝
Only reason he was offered cause his last name. Elijah Arenas will start over him and play better. Sad how a name gets you places he sucks just like his older brother and dad. Wonder why MJ never texted out to LeBron wait cause he is ass. I'll take DWade over LeBron all day. He won't and played with his team LeBron had to jump ship to win. LeBron is garbage both his sons are garbage. MJ the goat
U hating on someone success not a good look😂
Jase Richardson kinda plays like that guy who used to play for Tennessee. I forgot his name hes around the same size guard, pesky defender, drafted by Miami.
Josh Richardson?
Can you do a breakdown video of Tomislav Ivišić?
Stay tuned! So much more content to come this draft cycle...

Let's go, NETS! Welcome to Brooklyn. I'm expecting good and surprising things from you
Playing time with the Lakers was never really going to exist, so this is a great chance for Max in Brooklyn to potentially prove his value for this season and beyond.
Good episode!!! I'm relatively high on all of these guys...
Thanks for watching! Lots to like for sure, plus some other interesting international names to keep watching like Mario Saint-Supery, Joan Beringer, Mo Faye, Ben Henshall...
@@FloorandCeiling Mohamed Diawara, Neoklis Avdalas, noah penda too...
@@norrinradd542 There's a bunch to name. I like Neo quite a bit, and I highlighted him in my Substack (in description), but I think he might go the college route. David Mirkovic is another international prospect who appears to be headed to the NCAA next season.
Spanish Sergio de Larrea seems to me to be one of the most interesting players to watch for the next draft. He has been a bit off the radar, but this 6'8'' point guard (or combo guard) does almost everything well and is getting minutes in a competition as demanding as the Spanish League (ACB). One thing to keep in mind is that he is studying Engineering so he might have a good head.
I'm a big fan of De Larrea. Like I said in the video, he's been around my top 20 since the start of the draft cycle. It's a shame that he's currently unable to play with a right ankle injury, but I'm high on his NBA prospects. I think he'll be a connective decision maker, able to fill in 1-3, who has a dribble/pass/shoot skillset.
The video is, as usual, interesting, but the detailed information on Wilko's Substack is even more so. Don't miss it.
Thanks! And I agree - go subscribe to the FLOOR and CEILING Substack.
Totally agree👍
Fears the real deal Joliet illinois stand up
He’s gonna be in my next top 10 most likely.
Fears is top 5 this year imo. Only Flagg, Harper, Bailey and Johnson might be better than him.
I have the same, but Johnson and Fears in the same tier, best fit available between the 2...
For both of you guys - what puts Tre Johnson in your top fives? I feel like he's the prospect who's least included out of everyone mentioned.
@@FloorandCeiling Imo Tre Johnson is the best bucket getter in the draft and he's starting to show flashes of being able to do more too. Kasparas to me I like in the top 20... but he's overhyped imo and is a suped up Dellavedova. A better version, but a quality back up or low end starter in the league. I don't think he has a Trae Young impact or Luka and he doesn't defend that well imo either. If you can't play defense in the league you better impact the offense like them. Tre Johnson is maybe an All-Star someday or at least borderlines it. Fears and Tre Johnson I feel will impact the game well, and depending on where they land will do really well. Tre Johnson has a skill that he can hang his hat on while improving in other areas.
@@FloorandCeiling Cause he's a bucket getter. Elite scoring ability and has good size. If I'm picking in the top 5, I want guys that can create their own shots and potentially be a star.
Dybantsa has a very good physique, a powerful motor and good, albeit improvable, ball handling with both hands. He knows how to use his body very well which makes him a very dangerous player in the transition game. Another different issue is his value in the static game and there he has more problems as he is not a good three-point shooter or free throw shooter, although he does not seem to have a bad mid-range shot, and he does not seem to stand out in off-ball movements. He defends more by power than by positioning. Being a very interesting player for the 2026 Draft, I think he lacks a better understanding of team play and a much better ability to pass the ball when defended by 2 or 3 players.
I'm very confident that AJ has really improved as a passer, especially over the last year. He's been used as a ballhandler and facilitator a lot more, as opposed to just looking to score all the time. Of course, college will be different, but I think he's figured out the right balance for high school.
Fears is top #5 draft prospect right now.
Who's your other 4?
@@FloorandCeiling Flagg, Harper, Bailey and Johnson
Fears just dropped 30
He’s a big time hooper
I guess some of these are sleepers... Not really though, I think everyone knows these guys. Oh yeah and I wouldn't project freshman in the second round.
If you're pretty involved in the draft community, you'll know these guys. If you're a casual, not really. For example, on The Athletic's most recent big board, only Jase Richardson out of the 5 players I feature was listed. In Bleacher Report's latest mock, Richardson and Cofie aren't mentioned at all. And regarding your other point about not projecting freshmen in the second round, here are the list of freshmen who have been selected in the second round since I started covering the draft: JT Thor, Greg Brown, Sharife Cooper, Brandon Boston Jr, Caleb Houstan, Max Christie, Kennedy Chandler, Bryce McGowens, Trevor Keels, Moussa Diabate, Josh Minott, Kendall Brown, JD Davison, Julian Phillips, Jordan Walsh, Amari Bailey, GG Jackson, Chris Livingston, Johnny Furphy, Cam Christie, and Bronny James. If you want to argue that the success rate on these is incredibly limited or even nonexistent, go for it. I won't push back. But there are freshmen who get drafted every year in the second round (even if that trend is going down), so it's something I have to factor in for my analysis. Like I mentioned in this video, I'd advise Cofie to return to school for 2026. In Sanon's case, he outright said he'd be a one-and-done.
@@FloorandCeiling Would you include a guy like Cofie over a prospect like Wooley??? He's not mentioned in too many draft communities, but probably better. Jeremiah Fears isn't a sleeper and hasn't been for a few weeks now... What about Mobley, Jr.? Maybe Josh Harris??? Those to me are sleepers. Cofie is an acceptable sleeper, Thomas Sorber to me isn't a sleeper at all anymore... Not saying the content is bad or anything, just giving my perspective. I guess I get it though, you are for the audience of a casual draft guy that can be really into basketball in some way... it's all good...
👍
🤲
Crazy Timing 😂
It’s almost like I knew Fears would drop a 30 piece…
I think fleming will go closer to the late teens than 2nd round.
Yep, that's definitely how it's trending right now. NBA teams like him a lot.
Great content, appreciate. Hopefully you can do a episode about Danny Wolf, he looks very interesting and intriguing prospect.
Thanks, appreciate you! Danny is a fun and really unique player to watch. You don't see 7-footers who can run a pick-and-roll and have his level of ball skills, even if that can come with some rough turnovers. If he declares for the 2025 draft, I'll feature him on the channel at some point.
Very good start to the season. In his last 4 games he is averaging 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.25 steals with 55.5% 3P and 95% FT.
I wanted to see Kasparas be more aggressive as a scorer, and he has definitely done that in over his last handful of games. Moving up a lot of people's boards...
We have Nikola Jokic at home
How you feeling about Jacari White? He’s one player i haven’t heard anyone mention yet but he has consistently improved his numbers over his college career and looks like he could be a promising 3 and D PG for a team looking to get a more immediate impact out of a lower pick. Biggest drawback i see with him is that he is only 6’3”. Rocco Zikarsky is also a player i dont find in most top 30’s but could arguably be top 15 imo
I know of Jacari, but I'm not too familiar with his game. Coincidentally, his last game (vs. Butler) stood out to me right around the time I saw your comment. I'll keep an eye out. As for Rocco, he has the size and tools - but not the instincts right now. You watch his tape and he misses box outs, doesn't secure rebounds, fumbles passes, etc. There's a lot to work with, but he's more raw than expected I think. Zikarky is really young, though, so targeting the 2026 draft makes a lot of sense.
Be dope if demin stayed another year
Definitely but I'd say there's no shot
Big day for us BYU basketball fans. We couldn't be more excited to see AJ on the court here in Provo. Thanks for getting a video out so quick!
Thanks for watching! I'm sure you guys are pumped to have AJ. In a few years, I hope it's not forgotten how Egor set the blueprint for this new era of BYU basketball, even if Dybantsa's hype is logically unreal.
@@FloorandCeiling Coach Kevin Young has done an awesome job in his few short months here. The recruiting has been unprecedented. Egor has been awesome! Hoping he can continue to work his way into a top 5 draft pick this summer. Thanks!
@@TheRealJMart There were some cool nuggets on the Salt Lake Tribune about how Kevin Young took a covert meeting with AJ's parents in the middle of the Phoenix Suns' playoffs, for example. Having that NBA experience is a massive benefit obviously, but he's nailing down the personal aspect of college coaching and recruiting. From everything I've heard, Egor has settled down at BYU smoothly.
@@FloorandCeiling Agreed, 100%. It seems that he's also fired up the BYU boosters to be competitive and willing to shell out some dollars for these top prospects. It's been unreal to see it all unfold. If I can ask, what is your background? What part of the world are you from? How did you get into scouting? Love your work, as always.
@@TheRealJMart I'm from Spain, but I grew up in Brazil attending an international school and then graduated from Stony Brook University and USC stateside. I've also spent time in Australia and Argentina, so pretty all over the place in a good way. I've always been around basketball my entire life and, during the pandemic, I figured that I had plenty of time to try to make content in the draft space. That's opened up a lot of cool opportunities and I'm hoping to turn it into a career for an NBA organization down the line!
Not gonna lie, I don't think this kid is very impressive. He's pretty small compared to NBA players unless he's playing PG, but he's a 2 who can make plays? I don't think there's enough volume of evidence for him to play off ball, but to me he looks like a bigger Monta Ellis, and he doesn't attack the rim with enough strength at the HS level. He can contort his body, but - I'm just gonna say it - he is gonna get laid out a lot at every higher level. He doesn't have much muscle at all and I'm gonna have to see how he looks in a year when he goes to college and when he declares a year later - in 2 years, even 4-5 years, I think he just won't have the muscle unless he starts using steroids.
Keep in mind that he's usually facing 2-4 defenders on his drives at the high school level - and even then, he's usually getting to his spots or making the right read as a scorer and now increasingly as a facilitator. Let's look back at this comment in a year or so, but I feel confident that AJ won't have too many physical struggles in college. His handle, on the other hand, can keep adding more craft.
@ yeah for sure - rooting for anyone who makes it that far, my question is if an NBA team is willing to commit to a 6'9" Monta Ellis at number 1.
Raptor pick 😊
Would be a dream for Masai lol
SO QUICK WITH IT. Wilko STAY on his business-love to see it bro!
Yessir my guy!
Lets hope he goes crazy at BYU 💯💯💯
I'm sure he will. He's too good not to.
Have you had a chance to watch much of Cedric Coward? If so what are your thoughts?
I've watched Cedric (a tiny bit last season at Eastern Washington also), but I haven't done a deeper dive into his game yet. I intend to, though, but let's see how this shoulder injury+surgery he has plays out. I know a few people who are pretty high on Coward. I like how he uses his length and I'm comfortable with his shot. Then, he's solid making decisions off the catch, which I think is something he's been doing a bit more this year as opposed to posting up. But again, this shoulder situation seems significant.
@@FloorandCeiling I'm a Cedric Coward fan also, but I like Nique Clifford just as much.
@@norrinradd542 He's good. I'll probably feature him in a video at some point this season...
I appreciate your takes which are always informed, balanced and detailed. Thanks!
Thanks for the support as always!
A player that’s definitely flying under the radar is Michael rataj he’s the perfect modern day 4
What do you like about him? I'm familiar with the name, but not the tape so far if I'm being honest. Numbers look intriguing, though he struggles to finish at the basket. I'm tracking Maxim Logue for Oregon State long term, as well.
@ he’s been a really fun watch reminds me a lot of Tristan da Silva. He’s really dynamic with the ball in his hands and his defense has been great as a switchable wing. He needs to work on the handle and decision making tho.
My Hawks (Lakers pick) should snatch Holmes up ASAP!!!
Playing with Trae Young would be a dream...
Naw we gonna get him with the kings pick we gonna get Cooper Flagg with the Lakers pick book it
@dwaynep7246 Whatevers Clever but we need an upgrade at Center.
@@dwaynep7246 We have enough wings
I think he can dish a little more off the drive. Seen several opportunities to hit open teammates off the gravity
Harper can pass a bit more overall and he's more of a score-first guard for sure - but I do think he's gotten better at finding a balance between shooting and passing, and his teammates at Rutgers are pretty limited for the most part if I'm being brutally honest.
less athletic but quicker hands Blake Griffin
What do you see of Blake in Cooper?
I’m my opinion he is the best player in 2025 draft. I see his ceiling as lethal scorer in the and his 3 point shot will come around ..
I'm optimistic about Harper's three-pointer too, since that seems to be the biggest question mark so far. Thanks for watching!
I’m all in on Harper, hope my wizards draft him number 1.
As always, your analysis and film organization are top notch. Thanks!
Thanks for your support as always!
28 percent from college 3. Not a good sign. As a left handed shooter his right hand seems to push the ball? Or at least is inconsistent. Kentucky’s Antonio Reeves went late second round in last year’s “weak” draft , and though slightly built, had a much better long range game. Like Harper , 6’6” and not an above the rim player. As to Flagg - he has the size, length, and probably most importantly, the mentality to be very good at the next level. good video, thank you
Thanks for watching. Reeves made 79 "close twos" last season (33 games), basically meaning shots right at the basket. He made 31 the season before that (34 games). Harper is already 46/58 at the rim this season (7 games), while being a freshman and his team's offensive engine. But I liked Antonio and had him as a surefire second rounder last year when a lot of drafts didn't even include him.
@ Appreciate the stats. Good points.
Most guards coming of college don’t have a polished three ball or jumpshot
he was 33% pre-ncaa and i think thats where he will sit by the end of the season. his shot and limited athl are his biggest flaws imo
Tbh I just don't see how anyone at this very moment can still have cooper #1, in fact I didn't even understand it before the season, I like the motor and size of coop, but the hype just isn't matching what I'm watching
I'm curious as to what makes you feel that way exactly, although I do think that Flagg hasn't been dominant offensively. That said, I feel like that was always my scouting report on him, so I'm not overly surprised. I think he's still been a very good defender, productive as a 17 y/o freshman, and some of the offensive concerns can be attributed to how he's being used. Duke is asking Flagg to do a lot with the ball in his hands. To give you an idea, 20.3% of his possessions are as a pick-and-roll ballhandler. He's only been used as a roller, cutter, and out of hand-offs 10.2% of the time COMBINED. This isn't playing to Cooper's strengths right now, which as a scorer are largely off-ball imo. I've always compared Flagg to Jayson Tatum, but with less self-creation and more rim protection and versatile defense. In the NBA, Tatum developed into a player who can handle the ball a lot, use ballscreens, organize his team. etc. - but at Duke, he was spotting up and playing in transition most of the time. If the same had been the case for Cooper, then I think he'd be perceived a little differently right now.
Bro the offense is very important for a #1 pick, the "17 years old" excuse will be gone in 3 more weeks and he's only a few months younger than the other top prospects, it was him that chose the college to go to, why? Look, I think what he brings to a team overall will be very good, just nothing great, it depends what team drafts him, he's definitely no one who you'd make "the guy" on a team, at least that's not what he's shown so far, a 3rd ,4th option at best, Dylan is literally showing he's an engine, there's no hype but he's actually showing what a #1 pick should look like, it's a long season ahead so maybe we'll see it from Coop but so far the hype seems more manufactured to me
I feel the same way ur not alone
Me and my boys were just saying the same thing hours ago ... Ace and harp are better .. the stats don't lie
Problem w coop is bro atrocious at shooting the 3ball and FT with the turnover problems
Great vid👍
Thanks for watching!
Good content ❤
Thanks for watching - appreciate it!
No doubt the kid has talent, but, after watching this interesting scouting, I'm a little disappointed in him. Being a quick and fluid 6-10 player, you can't have that aversion to stepping in the paint. Bailey always tries not to get within 5 meters of the rim, often preferring to take very forced shots rather than drive to the basket. He lacks the body to crash and ball handling. I also don't see him, as the Rutgers coach points out, as a good passer and defensively he has many deficiencies. He is a good and fun player, but he has to improve in quite a few areas this NCAA season.
Ace doesn't have the handle to keep going once he meets contact, and it's a real issue. That's also why he has to ultimately take a lot of tough shots, which he can make, but those looks get increasingly difficult as the competition and athleticism he faces also get better. I also don't see him as much of a passer right now, although I believe in his potential as a defender. Ultimately, I think the most important question for Bailey in the draft is how he sees himself as a player - and, by extension, how the organization that drafts him views him. But the reason why I put more emphasis on the former is because I believe Ace has potential as a play finisher. He can make catch & shoot threes (defenders aren't going to block him at his height and versatility), cut (he doesn't have to handle), and he can smother attackers on defense with his length. I don't think he can break down a defender off the dribble or make complex passing reads that would merit significant on-ball time. However, fulfilling that role ultimately depends on whether Bailey himself buys into that, or he is single-minded in only being open to remaining the same type of player he was in high school. That's a long-winded explanation, but I also think it's something that applied to someone like Rob Dillingham last draft, for example. Dillingham only played isolation basketball in high school, and then he totally bought into being a team player at Kentucky. He let DJ Wagner and Reed Sheppard handle the ball as well, took stationary threes, and facilitated for others. I don't think Bailey has the handle or passing to create for others like Dillingham did, but he could definitely be more efficient and effective in a narrowed down role - be that now at Rutgers or in the future in the NBA.
@@FloorandCeiling Thank you for the detailed reply with which I quite agree. The problem is that I don't see, at the moment, Bailey limiting his role to a finishing player, I think he likes to have the ball in his hands too much. We'll have to see how playing alongside Dylan Harper influences his game (positively or negatively).
I didn't know him, but he looks like an interesting player with a good high school career. He can contribute both on offense and defense, although he needs to put on some weight. We'll see how he progresses during the season at Alabama.
As of right now, it's looking he'll be in my next big board's top 20-25. Philon has been impressive to start the season, but I want to see more like you said before I continue moving him up. He'd caught my eye in high school at Link Academy when I was watching their games to scout Tre Johnson, but I didn't think he'd see that much playing time as a freshman at Alabama.
He’s him I graduated a couple years bf him he went to my high school I seen him in the 8th grade for the first time he had 30 a professional bucket

@ yes
F&C, I told you the truth. This guy is the real deal.
He's been hooping
Kinda gives me jumbo Rob Dillingham vibes offensively
Yeah, I feel that. It's a comparison that I've made in my head before, but I think it's mostly the wild shotmaking and shot diet. Rob was infinitely better and shiftier as a ballhandler, a much more constant advantage creator, and his passing flashes existed - although I was concerned in his preseason about how he'd play team ball & adjust his habits. Those items also exist with Ace, but in slightly different ways.
I think people need to stop hunting for comparisons and just focus on what he does
