Just bought one. wanted a dryer that i can use for storage to. And yeah keep the lid open when drying. most "other" people close it (since they are idiots) and dont read the manual :P I bought 4 pack's of 50 gram reusable silica bag's (wisedry i think) , gonna see how that works.

I've owned one for quite some time and used it on and off for various projects but I must admit it's not great for minatures. Cosplay, larger models, priming and base coating all perfect. Just don't expect to use it for an entire models details. It was an excellent learning airbrush though and a great to just have lying around. The other advantage of starting off with this is being able to fully take it apart and learn how they work without worrying about damaging a £100-£200 airbrush

you need to work more on the Face, so that it wont look like Cartony look

Have had good results from Sunlu but not bought any filament for a few years now

Nice video showing patience is the important bit ;-) Have you ever tried one of those tools they they sell called noclogger. (Long metal pins) BTW your workplace is getting over full ;-)

You can use a wire brush on the hot end if you're careful, Ive done it a few times

Mean Green + Ultrasonic = Fantastic Results! That would resolve the debate regarding IPA and Ultrasonic Cleaners. Mean Green is also much cheaper than IPA from what I have seen.

Have you tried it with their resin detergent? I wonder if it's compatible

Thanks for sharing perhaps Sunlu is testing the waters for resin cleaning miniatures and than later come up with a larger unit.

Hiya, I was really pleased to see this video, now I'm a novice too 3D printing and I'm thinking of buying this Heygears UltraCraft Reflex 3D Printer because I'd like to print some 1:76 / 00 scale model buses which are obviously different to miniatures. As Heygears are trying to tie you in to using their proprietary resin so I'd like to know from your point of view which resin did you find to be similar in its properties to the Heygears UltraPrint-Production PAP10 Precise Detail Resin If this was the resin you used? as I was thinking of using this to start with as it's free because obviously if I buy this machine I won't be using their resin! I'll be using a much cheaper one and just pour it in the same bottle, so I'd be interested to know your thoughts because all these things will help make my decision on whether I will buy this particular machine because everything about it looked really great except for the fact that they're trying to get you to use their resin and you can't dial things in which isn't a problem in my case because being a novice I don't know how to do all of that stuff anyway so for it to be done for me is a bonus?, many thanks my friend, I look forward to hearing from you, Chris.

I have the 7 liter cleaner from eBay. I have an over sized pickle jar I fill with ipa and set inside the cleaner that I use that for prints. Works great.

Hey, thanks for the vid, just got it today and I really like it. How do I turn the pressure knob though? It does not feel stuck, tiny bit of play up and down but whether I am pressing it or not, it would not move. I've seen other video where the guy said it was difficult to turn? I've tried twisting it with a lot of strength but I do not want it to snap so hoping that someone can enlighten me on this one, thanks!

Hey Tony, good review. I think you're engraving a little too heavy. There's no need to do multiple passes, try and get the settings right for one pass as if there is any movement in the workpiece you will get shadowing or even multiple lines. The biggest couple of cons with the Pro versions are 1. They don't allow pass through, the ability to engrave a piece of wood larger than the work area by sitting the laser on it, due to the drawer which is alarmed. 2. Attaching a Rotary tool for engraving wine glasses, drinks cups etc. Again you have to remove the drawer and disable the alarm (a safety feature). This then renders the engraver as open and your Man Cave will soon fill up with smoke and potentially harmful fumes. Then you have to locate and disconnect the plug which goes from the motor to the Y axis and use the socket from that motor to control to rotation of the cylindrical workpiece. Despite many requests, Creality have ignored their customers and not implemented a switch and dedicated socket for the Rotary. They have also ignored requests for a parts list or somewhere we can order spares from which is the main reason I am annoyed at them. If anyone is using their engraver for business, they have to wait for any spares to come from Aliexpress, that's if they can find a compatible part but with zero information from Creality about the parts, it is virtually impossible. Things wear out, belts, wheels etc but a business having to wait weeks for a possible replacement is ludicrous. Keep up the good work and keep us updated as to how your laser journey progresses :o)

Brilliant review! I absolutely agree with you, long term use reviews are a must. How does a thing work after it has left the show room floor and the shiny new luster has worn off is something most reviewers don't do. You hit all the major points, the good, the bad, the ugly and most importantly; how does the company support its product after the sale. A good company can sell you a good product, but a great company sells you a good product and then supports you when things go awry.

Conflicted on this to be honest. You clearly went to a lot of effort but unfilled gaps/voids and scuffed paint on the nose of all places? For me it really undermines the finish.

Nice laser but 3x the price of mine ;-) Us poor folks use Phecda's lol. Does the laser have air assist as i see you have a bit of burn staining. Might be wiser to drop the power and doe more runs. Or masking tape it first ;-)

I have the elegoo Phecda and tried to make some paint holders for my drawers. Ended up using a bambulabs to make a honeycomb wall instead. Love what these “once professional level machines” can do for just a few hundred on the hobby market now.

Fantastic work, the amazing companies that are bringing these machines to home creators deserve high praise.

The beast head at 4m26s seems to have light small dark holes/marks pitted over it or is that just dirt from when you mention dropped? Curious is a resin flaw or just dirt please?

i have a bambu p1s which i love! my first printer. i just want to get a resin printer to print models to paint like once a month. this printer is a tad too expensive for my needs where i could get a saturn 4 for 1/3 the price and accomplish what i need .
