I’m kind of mixed about that scene. On one hand the line delivery is very good and the scene is well directed. But on another hand Magneto was never at this point of villainy. He was a defender of the mutant cause, not a massive murderer. In no other movie he came to this point of villainy (except maybe X-Men Apocalypse).

I hate that they delete the scene with rouge😢

Hell, if director himself found out, he could potentially cover for magneto and benefit 5000% rise in productivity. If you watched any movies from that era you would know.
