The B-17's .50 caliber damage is visible at 12:00 on my right wing and 15:31 on my left wing.
For anyone new to DCS or my channel:
Are you watching in 4K and with the sound high enough to hear the bullets hitting me?
It makes it easier to see the finer details when watching in 4K, such as the tracer rounds from the B-17's and the gas generated from the guns.
Increasing the volume or listening with headphones will also make it easier to hear the bullets hitting me. It sometimes sounds like a deep thud with bass.
I often will get hit at the same time I am shooting as this is when it is easiest for them to hit me, which can be confusing.
Sometimes when I am hit I will look to see where the bullets hit me. If the bullet impact noise comes from the right, I will look right and Vice Versa.
The English Cockpit is a Mod I added. It makes it easier for English speaking people to read the instruments, gauges and switches.
It also converts the speed from Kilometers Per Hour to Knots Per Hour.
The altitude gauge remains in it's original format of Kilometers.
The battle assessment damage notification window that usually appears at the bottom right of the display is turned off for this video.
