Man, your machine needs air, and lots of it...I know today's electronics can last while being hot, but dude your heating your apartment here. I use a i7 6700k and gtx 680 and the cpu never reaches 50C and is 24C on idle. GPU never more than 60 and 28 on idle. 4 input fans and as much on output will do it. Your CPU fan is running much too fast, no air goes in because of excessive turbulence...mine never goes over 1000 rpm and CPU keeps cool as a cucumber. No overclock at 4.2 GHz though. No OC on GPU either. Memory at 3200 MHz. If you are running at very high OC, it still would not explain the high idle temps...just saying.

How is the audio? does DCS have positional / spatial audio? if all sounds feel like they are stuck to you head, then DCS does not have positional audio... but if you can sense things around you via the ear, like a plane above you, then THERE IS positional audio!.... can you confirm?

do you really feel like your in a cockpit using the rift? not sure if you have been in a small plane like a cessna..

What i heard on the news about the two tornadoes that day, they said one was rain wrapped an the other one had hail the size of baseballs on the front side, but damn, that was some crazy stuff

I've heard that many of the truck companies won't even let their drivers stop and take shelter during severe weather. If this is true, then they don't give a rip about safety of their drivers or human life. This was an EF4 tornado...Big rigs have trouble with 70 MPH or less winds, so you can imagine what a 170 MPH tornado can do to one.

A second tornado was confirmed, either EF0 or EF1, but the news media was focused on the EF4. The weaker tornado hit some of the same areas that the EF4 did.

That storm was supposed to hit Scottsburg. Right after the weatherman told us that, we lost cable, internet, cell phones, land lines, and some lost electricity. It stayed out for a long time. I didn't know what happened until I went to McDs later, the place was packed. We found out from people driving up from the South what happened at Henryville. The reports were terrifying. If that storm had hit Scottsburg the death toll and damage would have been higher. It affected a lot of communities.
