It just didnt stop in 94. Now lamy gets hurt (yes i did see aidens video on the matter, amazing he lived.) That was my 1st year watching f1 at 9yo so i dont recall all the testing crashes. But my god there were alot of bad crashes. Theres senna and roland obviously. Then rubens, lamy, alesi, wendlinger, lehto, and probably a few more im missing that all got hurt. Insanity. Tbh, i didnt think much of it. Id seen deaths and injuries in indycar and nascar before that. Announcers would usually be like "hes not dead, so hes fine" when dudes legs got turned into stumps or his brain got scrambled. But man, after imola, that whole season had a black aura following it like the stench of death

Like "tomorrow they mourn of their own", "low grip circuit with too many chicanes", "mechanical failure is a drivers worst nightmare", showing bergers monster crash before showing rolands, etc. Its kinda creepy just how much foreshadowing their was
