Here is a tutorial of making multiples welds with the SMAW process using 1/8" 6010 and 7018 electrodes. I also show you why it is important to limit arc strikes while stick welding and how to prevent arc strikes. #SMAW #Stickwelding #welder #welding #weldlife #howto #diy #fabrication #pipewelding #arcwelding #6010 #7018

SA 200 Upgrades and Modifications
มุมมอง 63K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This is an in depth explanation of basic parts on an SA 200 and upgrades. This is a great video if you are planning on buying an SA-200 for Pipeline use. These are common parts you may want to upgrade, Modify, or replace before pipeline use. #welding #SA-200 #SA200 #pipeline #stickwelding #enginedrive #SMAW
oxyfuel basics

Here is just a quick overview of oxygen-Acetelyne Cutting, welding, and heating. it gives a brief view of each process and how it works.
Skrech videos dala karo sir
Also sry what oil do you run
What did you use to clean the contacts
Im gonna do all of this. Great video thanks
Can you put that filter system you have on the original marvel I still have the oil bath on mine.
you got soft hands brother
Great video! Any tips for this exact scenario but uphill/vertical
I'm on this as we speak, the root seems way harder than the cap.
The miller app say 60-90 amps ???
What is the back like on the fillet?
Super helpful! Thank you!
Have a SA 200 red face won’t strike a arc even after replacing brushes . Only get a little spark. Anyone have any idea what’s going on?
. 0:17 .
Mig is the 1 that I know the least about. All I remember was that it's the hardest to do a root pass on. My shit looked like a pipe that a bunch of tree roots invaded but my fill and cap were good.😂😂
I have a SA 200 f163 gas but don’t know what type of oil filter or oil to use can you tell me which type it takes
Never posted the rewired sa200 video. I’m not gonna get off u til u do. Need to see it.
It’s going a long very slowly haha! Soon enough though everything is painted and the engine is being put back together
عالی
شكرًا لك
Just love the sound of pipe liner specials.
Is there a site to find out the yr of a sa200?
I've just plain googled Lincoln serial number list... the list it gave me was damn near EVERY welding machine they've built. Tombstones to engine drives.
great work, was struggling on vertical t plate, my beads are always too wide.
You can do it!
Try circles if you are doing T plate. U's or weaves are more for beveled plate or pipe. The G positions.
@@Useruserusername790 cool, thanks!
@@grimmfortelight1983 welding a gap is a whole different monster. But it just takes practice. When you learn to hear and feel the correct settings on whatever then you got it. That's the whole trick to welding, you just gotta work as comfortable as possible. Fuck up alot at first, everybody does, the mistakes help you get more confidence after you learn to fix them.
@GenZRuinedTheWorld Thanks for the advice, I just finished my first semester of a structural welding in May with all A's in my intro to stick and MIG classes. Next semester starts in August, after that I'll be doing the 1 year pipe certification. Appreciate the response thoe!
Très bonne méthode de soudage mig mag ❤
MIG,e um processo, MAG já e diferente ok
It's not MIG, is MAG
Technically since I’m using 75/25 gas it is GMAW
@@relentlesswelding15 for that reason It is called MAG
@@jesusjesuss1648 MIG is metal inert gas. MAG is Metal Active gas for that reason a mixture of inert and active gas is called GMAW
@@relentlesswelding15 you are wrong. GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding )is the name of the process and depending on the type of gas used will be MIG or MAG
It's wire welding. Wether it's fluxcored or gas shielded, it's Wire welding. I win because I am greatest. Yay me.
Hey man, can you help me understand how to install a low idling kit for a 1963 red face
That weld wouldn't pass on any real job .. no penertration at all amature double amps and volts
How can you tell how much penetration without a cut and etch? I will say these settings are not fool proof as a root pass to get proper root fusion.
Too cold..the position is 3G..another dumbest wannabe
Плотность чешуйки такая себе
I would have done at least 19v, I like to burn hot, props to that speed though. I usually do 165-180 wirespeed for verticals.
If you want more volatile you are more than welcome this is less about settings and more about technique
Voltage*
Great stuff Mr. On settings how you master?
Each welding machine has a chart to go off of. But you will end up finding what is best for you. That's how welding works. Experiment with different settings and you will learn how to hear and feel if you have it dialed in right.
Hi sir. How much is it? Can I get sale url?
17V and 200? Jesus. Vertical flux settings should be 23 and 190.
They’re two different processes that weld totally different. Shoot I run my flux vertical uphill at 25.0 and 365
This is not flux core
Comment what we wanna see next? (Not trying to be an asshole here). That being said. More welding content would be awesome. I like your teaching style. You help this old man understand various techniques easily. So, thank xou
Likewise I'm on the same weld up hill. The roots a nightmare, I thought the cap would be tougher.
Great video man, I'm looking to pick one of these up myself.
Nice bead. What size tungsten and filler rod
3/32 thoriated tungsten. 1/16th tungsten
@@relentlesswelding15 how long have you been tig welding now?
Right side current control will tell you not to exceed a certain #
Way too cold bro
Very nicely done. Great presentation, articulate and knowledgeable. I like your basic philosophy, take care of her and she’ll take care of you.
Thanks to
Excellent work! Easy to understand your expectations!!
I wish you would have spoke on the prices for each upgrade. Good work bro nice video!
Someday I will try to include this
MIL GRACIAS POR TU LINDA LECCION DE COMO SOLDAR TE LO AGRADEZCO DE TODO CORAZON MAESTRO MUCHOS SALUDOS
Estoy feliz de que te guste
Good job I got a black face I’m rebuilding and these upgrades will be perfect
Amazing technic brother. The trail behind wire arc is not cold its mean that you feedwire less than usuale to not melt and rund down material. Its called in Europa soft dynamic arc.
Amazing process sir!❤❤❤❤❤thanks lot.❤❤❤❤🎉
I change the oil in my machines every 50 hours, oil is cheap, new parts are not!
Well explained and good camera video work. Neat welds.
Glad you enjoyed it
Not being funny, but that was a shit gas weld.. You need to stop all this trying to do "stack of dimes" nonsense it should be a steady continuous motion from right to left with the torch doing little circles..
And also make sure that the rack is in the proper position if your rack is out of position it will extinguish in the lower amperage adjustment on fine adjustment if your rack is adjusted correctly you can do a lot lower amperage adjustment with the find current if it's out of adjustment it will extinguish every time
using a piece of the same metal thickness to get even weld legs is a cool tip thx
Whys that cap look so built up? Not enough heat?
Si es posible traducir al español buen canal
actualmente estoy trabajando en ello
In the mid 90's I broke out with a 65 Red Face exactly like yours. Ran it all those years with the R57, its on there to this day and still works. I made a lot of money with that machine and she never let me down. I don't drag leads down the road anymore but I still got her and she will never be for sale! Every time i hear that flathead 4 cyl jump to high idle it makes me smile. You have learned your machine well and made all the correct upgrades. Your overall knowledge of machine and welding is impressive young Skywalker. Your going to make a good welder one day. From an old school rig hand, you have my respect.
Thank you so much! It means a lot to me!
