Ich bin selber ein Adoptivkind, zwar aus Russland, aber dieser Film hat eine ganz besondere Rolle in meinem Leben! Die Beziehung zu seiner Adoptivmutter, aber auch zu seiner leiblichen... Etwas was ich in gewisser Weise mit ihm teile.

One issue with time travel is how much carryon luggage you’re allowed. On Claire’s second trip back to the Eighteenth Century she took medical supplies and some Polaroids of Brianna for Jamie. The Terminator couldn’t even take the clothes on his back. Same thing in The Time Traveler’s Wife. Another question is how much control you have over how far back you travel. The Outlander stones seem to offer a trip of 202 years, take it or leave it, 1945 to 1743 or 1968 to 1766.
She was amazing until everyone she trusted betrayed her or died. If we think about it historically, Merlin is an ass. The Spanish Inquisition, the way the holy church went after anyone w/ knowledge that didn't suit their need for power, marginalizing women. . . basically torturing and burning (and this happened in our NOT magical world), hatred of science. GREAT job Merlin. You are SO awesome. Anyone that thinks he is an 'okay fellow'. . .
