I think this ruins the whole idea of randomness. Personally I don’t like when the teams chat with each other about where they’re landing or this poi draft. It takes away the point of randomness and I understand this is pro leagues, but if this was consistent in pubs, it would ruin the challenge of finding a good/preferred spot or contesting

Apex biggest mistake was to cater to pros and force every other player to adapt instead of creating two versions of the game like CoS league play was where certain guns and attachments were restricted. But no, let’s just force everyone to sweat.

Honestly im not that big of a ranked guy no matter the game and even id rather play ranked than pubs or solos. I barely managed to get my first 2k badge a couple days ago and i have i think a 0.75 career kd so you know im bad and the sheer amount of 4k 20 bomb/ pred people i see in solos is ridiculous.

I think the poi draft was a smart addition to algs. It balances the game better so every team hits the ground at the same time.

Id love this in pubs and ranked. Not necessarily a snake draft for the poi, but dropping teams over different pois. Too many players are sheep, and the majority of pubs games are practically over before zone 1 is closed. These sheep all jump in the same 3 pois and die within minutes and the quality of games has gone way downhill due to this.
