What was the increased mpg? lol. I am curious. I am thinking about the conversion from AMW on my Gladiator.
The tire size and ratio you speak of are STILL too tall. There IS a chart that states what gear you should run with a particular tire size. All the changes you're making, you are STILL "under geared". 39s you should have 5:13 optimum rpm @ the std 65mph.
Trust me, 4.88’s on the 392 are just fine
@@therubiconian392agreed. 4.88s & 40s has worked fine for me.
Should of got a " America most wanted 4×4.
Price?
Hi , I have a red rubicon, 2 door
If MAP 5 makes more torque what fuel were you using?
93 octane
I know this is an old video but looking to buy the wife a Jeep of her own and considering the 2.0. Nice video! I'm curious if the Pulsar box tunes are designed to work with all factory components and possibly all the other airflow upgrades you made needed a different/ custom tune. Looking forward to checking out the rest of your catalog.
Go for it! Regardless the 2.0 is peppy
I am just beginning my jeep journey. I dont have a wrangler yet but i hope to very soon.
Dammit dude. That sucks. You still gonna wheel at all?
We’ll see, I need to generate some income. Inflation has been a killer. If I can afford a lift and 37” tire for the TRX I’ll be happy.
Pulsar sucks for a tuner btw and you need to have a turbo back exhaust to get real power and get you a boost controller turn the boost up
Just saving people money
So which level tune did you go with on the programming? I know you said lvl 3 had the highest peak but you explained that each one behaved differently? Would like to know which you chose..
@@scottmcclure4253 great question, I left it in 5
Stock Drive shafts under there? yea, this is a pavement princess. By offroad, likely you meant some gravel fire roads.
@@Dharqness no I’ve changed the front shaft. Twice. The issue is the clutch packs.

Great video for me to see. I purchased a ‘23 AEV level 2 Rubicon 392 in March ‘24 and started having TC issues at 6,500 miles. The 4WD MIL service light has appeared 3 times now. There is a new TSB 08-162-24 out for ‘21-‘23 392’s to address the C-140E-00 DTC which is what mine is showing. I’m going to the dealer on 8/7/24 for the TSB reprogramming but if that doesn’t work, I should be getting a new motor actuator which I’ve heard is the weak link of the TC. The 392 has been going into 4WD usually after a drive and I shift from Park to Drive.
This is the worst onlyfans ever!
Lmao 🤣. You have to find my link tree
Sorry to see it go. 😢

Sharp looking rig....I really like your wheel choice
If we ever get monetized I’ll give sets like that away
So basically. Buy the 4xe have the best of both worlds with way more power!
That was their intent
If it wasn't for the fact a cel light disables my 4wd , I'd completely ignore the light. Was getting the issue with the stock box cause one of the connectors broke. Ordered the v4 induction intake from eurocompulsion, now the code comes on time every wl2 days
@@joshua7426 that little valve is a pain
@therubiconian392 is that what it is that's causing the issue? I pretty much cut the old one out of the stock box too per instructions of the induction kit. I did read somewhere there was a trick to that t valve to make it stop but I haven't been able to find it since getting it installed
@@joshua7426 that’s the culprit in most cases

Bought a month ago a new 2023 392- I live in Dubai - UAE and use the car dune bashing in the desert at ambient temps of over 40c! As low still on mileage ( 5k klms) I am not pushing it much (2-4K RPMs mostly) yet Oil temp climbs fast to 120 -130 C! Never had that with my previous 3.6 Rubi. As a result of the excessive heat had Power Steering overheating warning and service 4WD warning with 4WD seemingly locked despite switching out of High and back into auto! I was disappointed at such warning and behaviour as well as steering becoming stiff when hot. I run it on 35”s ( stock was 33’s ) and have it on teraflex 3.5” lift kit with adjustable Falcons SP2 3.3. In town oil temp hovers around 107-110 - when cruising easy on highway @ 120 Klm and 3,000 rpm - oil climbs again to 120c ! Dealer checked it over for couple days and said is normal and go on without worry.
Definitely will run hotter, but it should be okay. A mishimoto radiator might help cool things down.
This video cracked me up so much! Was not expecting a good laugh
😁👍
When we gonna race? 😄

Larger intake pipe, 3 inch upcharge pipe, a 3 inch down pipe with 3 inch exhaust pipe all they back to a decent muffler with get you going..... also adjusting the the AFR and Boost from waste gate. not sure what the sock boost PSI is on that turbo.
27psi
Gotta quick question about this swap that I wanna do in my 96 Tahoe???? From the donor vehicle, wat all would I need from that vehicle to do this swap successfully? Thanks
That is a good question, just the engine and trans is all I kept. It’s gonna take a few custom parts and a stand alone ecu to work.
@@therubiconian392 oh ok great to know and thanks for your reply…last question is wat custom parts would I need then? And wat transmission are u running? Allison,4l80e, 4l60e? Any information helps! Thanks
@@ryandonaldson8736 custom parts are going to be drive shafts and engine mounts. I’m running the Allison 5 speed transmission. I didn’t want to mess with longevity anymore so this was as bullet proof as setup as I could get for relatively cheap.

What's the difference between going to 2WD or switching the DTCM to NO using the Tazer?
At the moment we had already tried to do the 2wd trick with the tazer and it wouldn’t let the clutch packs go. Turning off the DTCM was the only thing that worked to get the Jeep home. I don’t encourage anyone to drive full time like that. But if the transfer case issue happens it is one way to get home.
Hunk of crap. Smoking and grinding and popping.
I'm getting 74weld portal axles on my 392 with 40s. I hope I don't have this issue.
Get the Tazer but those portals are super cool!!!
First!
Team 3!!! Always punctual
Stupid video with all the cartoon inserts. Looking for good info and stopped watching halfway through.
Helpful video. Thank you. I have a 23 Wrangler 392. At 3500 miles, the SERV 4WD light came on. I checked the fuses and the error light went off temporarily but came back on once for the next 20 miles or so. Vehicle is so new I’ve barely done any trails yet so it hasn’t been abused in any way. The dealer has the 392 now and says I need a new transfer case. No explanation as to why. There seems to be a lot of stories about transfer case issues with the 392 - frustrating.
When switching gears inside do it slowly. My 2021 was doing the same thing at first. Ever since shifting it from park to drive ect. Slowly never had any more issues like that again.
After you install Boltons on a new car you have drive it around a little bit and floor it so the computer can adjust afr’s and Then you dyno it
I’d already done that. There was a couple weeks between dyno sessions.
@@therubiconian392 so what was the final out come ?
@@blakemarchand6650 Better overall drivability but I didn’t consider it worth the cost on the programmer. The charge pipe definitely not worth it short term but it may become beneficial switching from plastic to metal in a high heat area. The exhaust was totally worth it. Cold air intake gave a better response on the highway.
@@therubiconian392 yeah I agree
@@therubiconian392 yeah I agree with all that I am surprised the charge pipe did give you better results though
I’m just about do the same.how did it come out. and what motor mounts you get
Truthfully, I just found out they’re closing and moving. It’s been years and they haven’t finished it yet. I have to go pick it up this week and it’s in pieces.
Oh dang it should be wicked when finished
@@littlebitofeverything9540 IDK if I can get it done. Life’s been crazy lately. Things have gotten so expensive lately idk if I can afford to finish it. I’ll try but idk
I have a 22 same exact color. I do have the tazer as well. Man do I love this thing…
I have a 2 door JL on 33’s. Now you’re gonna make me have to go spend money
Well, I tell myself the same thing just about monthly
Looks sick
No thanks, I’ll stick with stock for now. No worries, no problems and everything under warranty. Less headaches.
Just put 37's and 4.88 in my 392, and Clayton 2.5 overland lift, so far I'm liking it, just ordered all steersmart yeti xd steering components now
Got the same setup in my 392! Same lift tire size and gears. Love it!
I just bought a Jeep and have done some of the mods. Thankyou for your time spent to do this and share with the community. What's the sticker on your jeep with the Beret?
That’s NCAuto that was Chuck who lifted it
@@therubiconian392 👍
Could this work for any car? I just installed a cold air intake for my tc I haven’t checked the code but if it’s the same problem maybe it could work too?
Depends. The main issue with the Jeep is the valve that comes with the stock air box. Because after market manufacturers can’t infringe on a patent or for cost reasons, they were unable to mimic the part properly. Each case may differ. Sorry if this isn’t the answer you hoped for but you can make a video explaining your situation and send us a link to your video we might be able to help.
I drive in 2WD most of the time in my jl392 with the tazer mini. Do I have to turn this off as well?
If you drive around in two wheel drive this problem should not occur. It’s essentially due to excessive heat and premature wear by the clutch packs. A service of the transfer case and clearing the codes and I haven’t seen anything return since. Fingers crossed.
@@therubiconian392 yeah I had the “service 4wheel drive system” light come on when I didn’t have a my tazer yet but I was also mudding with 38s on low psi and going up hills. Really being rough on it. Since then I’ve never got that code again. But I also drive only in 2WD now just to prevent wear on the clutch packs. I don’t know if people fully understand when to use 4auto, 4Hi and 4Lo and as a result they put to much stain on the drivetrain. It seems to me like people are always going way to slow in 4Hi or way to fast in 4Lo or just bogging out 4auto but idk
So what exactly does turning off the DTCM do ? Cause when I turn force rear wheel drive on, my 4auto light turns off automatically
@@blakemarchand6650 I think the 4auto should never have been an option
@@therubiconian392 I agree it’s to new and different for people to get used to. Unless your a seasoned wheeler its hard for people to know what gear in the t case they should be in
