Some people just stopping taking gaming as serious and fell off skill wise. It is what it is. They treat it as a super casual experience where they rely on your bc you still game more seriously

My thoughts are, I believe they over complicated a simple football game. They keep wanting to be top tech, instead of a well polished football game. They've ran out of things to improve on in gameplay. I just wish they would upload the old Madden 15 or 16 game port and update the team rosters and release it.

Yeah you are right, I had to uninstall/reinstall twice, start over, and with the so called upgrade, I did everything I did the first time, my speeder was stuck in one place as I pulled on the trigger to go forward, things got transferred to another bottom. 👎👎😠🤔🤔, couldn't stop, had to crash into something to jump off, going on my speeder, all by itself, I wasn't even pulling the trigger, everything that it suppose to do when pushing the buttons, just did the opposite with other buttons 😡😡😡😡, I only got this to check it out, now it became even worse when the sound went out . 😡😡😡😡😡😡, totally broken, just like they have been saying, and still it really sucks because I still don't and never will have that WOW about this game.

I buy the new madden every four years or so, and also played madden 24 free on game pass. Yeah, there’s not much new here with 25. I’ve only played franchise so far, but it is a little smoother and shinier than 24 imo. i see why people are disgusted though, it’s a high price tag for little to no improvement each year. Competition is the only thing that’s going to make them buckle down and truly improve it.

Sadly at this point, changing to a better engine wouldn't fix this beyond savable mess. They'd have to rebuild from the ground up. New coding, new engine, new programming, and more. But they won't, cause until ether the NFL drops EA, or they get competition, or learn to "care an oh awful lot, nothing is going to get better, it's not." slight history lesson: Madden 04 to 08 where the pinacol of great madden titles on the ps2, xbox, and gamecube. The jump to the next generation was rough, but at least we got Madden 11 and 12 which were good. Then came Madden 13 which jumped to the infinity engine which worked great for physics based gameplay. However, they dropped like 80 plus features from Madden 12 and before. It felt like EA was trying to pull an NFL 2k with gameplay over depth. Then we got to the original Madden 25 which was the infinity engine on the 360 and ps3, but switched to Ignite for the ps4 and Xbox one. That engine while iffy, still worked and was playable, and would be used up to Madden 17. Madden 18 was the point of no return when they switched to the frostbite, and we all know how that has gone for us. Ultimate team became their focus, and everything else was treated as second rate. Frostbite is good for graphics and animation based gameplay, but not for physics based. Even College Football 25 is still limited by that engine, and i think that game is the highest you can go with it, and that game had 5 nice years to get rid of the glitches and bugs. Madden is building a foundation on loose dirt if not mud at this point. Their team wouldn't be able to achieve the full potential with the time given for a better Madden, and there running out of ways to build on it. So all they can do now is add and remove features every year and present it like it's different with fancy key terms as you described. Soon, the NFL is considering opening their license so other companies can try their hand at making an NFL game. Cheers to hoping my dude.

Dude you probably actually remember a time before they had to send patches to fix glitches they should've fixed at launch....CFB25 is a victim of a modern gaming mindset; Let's rush this shit out and not worry about anything...Let's just get the money!! And I'm enjoying my Teambuilder Dynasty on NCAA Football 14 which I've done for several years offline something you can't do on CFB25.....I own the game and though it's got some good stuff I'm overall disappointed in what we got after 11 years...

Dude, Madden absolutely sucks and if anyone was paying attention in NFL marketing, EA would absolutely lose their license and have to actually improve the game to compete! However,if you are making content about this, you need to polish your presentation and get your thoughts in order so you aren't repeating the same point constantly and make certain all of your points are sound, so EA can't point to anything you got wrong and write off all of what you have to say,including the good information! I am here to say that I have got a copy of madden 25. I think the game is a big upgrade from Madden 24. This is a rare sighting because most EA sports games are repeats from last year. I can confirm this year they have finally put in the work. this is the perfect follow up from another great game college football 25

EA loves people's money, and yet the people dont understand? If people actully understood, they wouldnt buy this mess. All Pro 2k8 wasnt perfect but very fun. Madden 08 was a complete game to an extent....but my friends and myself seem to buy less and less software...and this video is a great reason that points this out. Good content...much appreciation

0:40 I’m not sure that it’s fair but they’ve had if I understood correctly, three years to develop this game for its triumphant return. And realistically, it probably was not going to live up to the hype and the excitement because most games never do. But this was a total disappointment in so many ways that don’t even revolve around the restrictions on player editing or any of the reasons why the series was canceled 10 years ago. It’s because of how they sold this game and what it actually is being two different animals. And now the game is basically set up to be promoted like madden every year by piecemeal additions while tweaking and fixing bugs. They could’ve came out with a big splash and then improved on that year after year but instead they under delivered specifically with dynasty and RTG so that they can have more marketing back of the box options in the up. How else are they going to increase profits for shareholders if they just blow their wad in the 1st year.

Because all the hype was around the aura of college football, and the game day experience, blah blah blah and not the actual gameplay and depth overall. Look at the game and how empty it is now over two months of being out. All they can do is basically fix bugs and add uniforms. They can’t make dynasty anymore immersive because there’s so many features missing and so many limitations on the role-playing aspect of it.
