I’ll be honest, I did not care for this one. They literally turned Locarno into a lame when he accepted responsibility for his actions at the end of “the first duty”. Dude even said that he would take the fall for Nova Squad and he did. And I’ll be real, they give Beckett Mariner way too much credit for my taste sometimes. If this was real Star Trek, she would’ve got booted a long time ago but she’s on a ship where she can get away with nepotism. I love lower decks with all my heart but tbh I didn’t really care for the last two episodes of Season 4 other than the fact that my boy Ma’ah was a captain. But Locarno deserved better than to be used as trash when he did take responsibility for his actions and any real TNG kid like myself would know this 🖖🏾💯
