Another Reason why one might prefer the physical version of these mediums (books, CDs, etc..) could also be the feeling of ownership ' +'~| these are some kind of personal items that help you define who you are. A bit like a secret garden filled with your past experiences 🌱 what you read, what you listened to - an anchor to the stories that made you who you are now. On another note I really appreciate Cards which art leaves a lot to interpretation - allowing the person's mind to weave its own tale 📜

Hey man, I’ve been watching your videos recently. Just wanna say, I admire your sense of enthusiasm for self-expression through art! Its nice to find interesting creations like these in our day and age, especially when art can just be AI generated now, like you said, and when our generation’s more into scrolling on social media, binging netflix, and doing stuff that gives instant gratification. I get what you mean, I also feel like I have an attachment to physical art and making lore. That’s the same feeling I got when I was a younger kid who drew on a lot of sketchbooks, and made up stories with my friends. So yeah, keep doing what you do, you’re doing a lot for the community, and yourself!

physical art really clicks, you can connect to a more handrawn image than just flat lines.

I didn't know that this was a thing till I found your channel. I don't know much about HTCGs & certainly have never purchased any. I understand that there's probably all different kinds of art at different levels for theses games. Could you point me to some with some nice old school hand drawn art? Black & white or color. I might even be interested in just art cards if I like the art.

Calling quality card art "almost looking AI generated" is extremely insulting. Because it delegitimizes the effort it takes to get to that level, made worse by the fact that the "AI look" is really just a database of stolen art... Talk about basing your perspective on the wrong things... There were better ways to make that point.

I also think starter decks are all around too weak! new players want to feel like they can still do well without spending a butt ton of money.

The embassador of HTCGs in person 📜 Jokes aside, it's a great video ' +'/) and there's a tiny thought that keeps on nagging me in the back of my head.. A huge part of these Homemade trading card games (and what arguably takes the most of their creators time) is the art itself ' ^'~\[**] every creator has a really unique style. And coming from Deviantart, I found myself quite puzzled by the fact that very few creators share their art in there. Most of what I could find is people sharing on youtube, discord, and their own website. I do feel like with all the groups system that exists in platforms like DA, it's kind of a shame that no HTCG community seems to have sprouted in there 🌱
