Your barrette is stunning. Wow! Makes me wish I had long hair. Thanks for sharing your beauties with us. I love your sweet personality and
Thanks so much Jill, I appreciate your kind words! 😘
I'm glad you had the mistake, I'm great at having mistakes and you showed us how to fix it. That's a huge help for those of us who make a lot of mistakes. Thank you.
I make a lot of mistakes, sometimes daily LOL maybe I should make a video all about fixing mistakes! 😁
Love it Linda!!!!❤❤❤❤
Hey Roe, so glad you liked the "short" I did a full length tutorial on the "cufflet" if you want to check it out! x
I absolutely love this chain. I have a question though your regular flat nose pliers how wide is the dimensions of the tip because I don’t think mine’s that big.
Hi Lyndar, if you are talking about the blackset of flat nose pliers I use, they are regarded as a fine tip, they measure 4mm in width! I hope this helps?
Sorry, I forgot I was using a wider pair of flat nose in this tutorial, the ones I am using are 6mm wide!
Love your lariat necklace that you made with this link. You’re so creative!
Thank you Suzy, I'm so glad you like it!
Pretty
Thanks Marjorie!
Unique design love them❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tahnk you! have a wonderful day!😄
Good morning Linda , I hear you just fine
Morning to you too! 😄
They are gorgeous!!
Thank you Karen! have a happy day!
Another brilliant design Linda! How do you keep doing this? Each week you amaze me even more than the week before! Thank you so much for all your great work and I thought your story about your partner was sooo funny, thanks for making me laugh, I needed it!😂😂😂😘
You are so welcome Lily!
I just love these!! The spiral sparked all kinds of different ideas!! I have found that if I open my round nose pliers all the way, put one of the barrels back into the spiral and push up and pull down at the same time, that the spiral spreads apart more easily. I love that you're trying to stop putting yourself down. You're MUCH too talented and should see it in yourself, as much as we all see it in you!! Like I said last time, it's one of my 2025 goals for myself as well!! BTW, could you please do a video that shows the oxidation, tumbler and polishing part of your jewelry process. That's my 2025 jewelry goal. So, my hubby bought me a tumbler and my best gf, Amy Campbell, bought me the 4 steps of material to use in the tumbler. So, I'm ready to give it a try but am unsure how to start. I would greatly appreciate it if you could, please and thank you!!! 😊🫶🏻📿❤
Hi Heather, I'm so happy I inspired you and thanks for the tip, it had been ages since I made an open spiral and I had forgotten about using the round nose pliers (I often forget more than I remember lol). I have been doing some thinking about why I put myself down and I have come up with a few explanations, self doubt, imposter syndrome and feeling alone in my jewellery making journey. Meaning, outside of the virtual community I have built here on TH-cam & FB, no-one sees or cares about what I create, I have no-one to share it with! So therefore no real time feedback or encouragement! I have done a tutorial on oxidisation and a small segment on the tumbler, but they need to be revised as I do a few things differently now days, I think I will post a tutorial for it in my FB group as tutorials like that don't do so well on TH-cam! Have a happy day Heather! xx
Nothing is as easy as we think it should be, but in the end we have made something beautiful.
So true Louie!
Nice original design. You set my mind in motion as to how I can use that spiral as a jumping off point.
That's fantastic, I'm glad it inspired you!
What a hilarious story about Dave!😂
hahahaha,
Love these Linda ❤
Thanks Kassie! Have a happy day!
I do love the organic, free feel to these beautiful earings Linda, it looks really difficult having to work under the camera but thank you for persevering 💜
Thanks Tracey, it is hard to work under a camera, you have to try to position your hands differently to the normal way you work! 😄💜
Love your story, made me chuckle. Love the earrings, and will definitely give them a go 💜💜💜
I'm so happy I made you chuckle Lorraine, it does us good to have a laugh! I hope you will post a pic of the earrings in the FB group when you're done making them!? Have a wonderful day!😄❤
Thank you for sharing your talent with us newbies. I cant wait to try these! I already know the beads I am going to use!!
You're going to love them Mae! I am excited to see your bead choice, please post a pic in the FB group ok!?
What a stunning creation Linda love those earrings wonderful work & tutorial. Loved the giggles on your story so happy to hear your trip was so much fun.💗
Thanks Cathy, I had to giggle, I can'y help it, everytime I think about him in the wardrobe I crack up! 🤣🤣😂❤
I adore these earrings Linda‼️. They are so exciting and expensive. I am going to give them a go for sure. Loved your sailing story, I know what you mean about how dark the cabin is. I believe a smaller drill is used on quality stone to decrease the potential for cracking, I definitely know the frustration because you have to use such small g wire. Love you lots ‼️♥️
Thanks Consuelo, I hope you'll post a pic in the FB group when you make these earrings!? Yes the cabins are very dark LOL just ask Dave!!!! hahaha Love you too! Have a happy day!❤❤
Great piece, thanks. Try this for consistent expansions of the spiral: use 1 side opened, all the way, of your round nose pliers instead of the flat nose. I always have consistent spirals that way. Reason for the small holes: because the bigger the hole, the more they waste per carat. So, they save money.
That's fascinating, I didn't know that about the holes, thanks for sharing with me! Also thanks for refreshing my memory about the round nose pliers, it's been awhile since I used that technique and just didn't recall it! Have a fantastic day!
Beautiful earrings! I'm going to give it a go. Love your rings!!! 😍
Thanks Jaime, please post a pic in the FB group!
My goodness. Beautiful, Linda.
Thank you Sharen, I love the way they turned out, I hope you have been well?!
Super awesome and unique Linda - as always! Thank you! XXOO
I’m so glad you like them! Have a wonderful weekend!
Love these ❤ very different!
May your happiness know no bounds. I hope you and your family are doing well. May your day be filled with happiness and joy... Stay safe
Thanks! I'm glad you like them! 😊
Honest to God Linda, how do you come up with these ideas? These are gorgeous and I'm going to call these the "planet" or "galaxy" earrings. Great story about poor David...was he upset at all about you laughing? I just finished watching and running off to go try my hand at making these. You know how much I love earrings! Thank you for these sweet earrings design. Oh and lovely nails...you have such pretty hands. 🥰👍
May your happiness know no bounds. I hope you and your family are doing well. May your day be filled with happiness and joy... Stay safe
Wow, thank you Lauretta, my head is over full with ideas and I probably forget more designs than I actually get a chance to make, if I was more organised than I am I would jot all my ideas down, but alas I'm not! Dave was only upset that I beat him to the toilet! LOL Yes, I do know how much you love earrings and thank you for the compliment on my hands, they used to be nice hands when I was younger, now I guess they're just ok! xx
@@GumnutLaneJewellery very happy to hear you have so many ideas and I'll be watching...looking forward to a live video soon! Nonsense, your hands are beautiful. 🥰👍
Great idea! Might try with mixed metal copper/silver for the outer spiral. Thanks for the funny story it made my day😊
May your happiness know no bounds. I hope you and your family are doing well. May your day be filled with happiness and joy... Stay safe
great idea Kelly, I just finished a piece using mixed metals and I think the earrings would look great!

Es una cadena preciosa, las piedras verdes le aportan mucha distinción. La he amado y sin duda voy a intentar hacerlo ❤. Gracias ❤
Muchas gracias Helen y espero que tus pendientes que haces también sean bonitos!
Love your chains.......😍
Love your tutorials. I gained the courage to try freeform peyote. Love this tutorial also, but why are you using double Fireline? I definitely want to try this. Thanks.
Hi Nicki, I used doulbe thread for extra security, as I had one break on me before!😄
Love your earring designs!
Awww, thank you!
Hi Linda. Looks like you got a great room on the ship! The links are really cool. I like the idea of mixing different sizes together and maybe even different metals. I think this is one that would be nice to have a few siting at hand to ad to your jewelry designs on the fly! Great job. And yeah- there are no mistakes. It's always helpful to see how to fix/adjust things. Take care :)
Hi Katny, yes we did get get a nice room and I'm happy you enjoyed seeing how to fix things! It's all part of the fun, right?
I love your tutorials. You always explain why and what you are doing when creating awesome jewellery. You have years of experience working with wire and are willing to share your knowledge with us. Thank you so much.🥰
You are so sweet Judy! I'm so happy you enjoy my work, so where are you from? As I noticed the spelling of "jewellery" !
I like when a creator has struggles and then shows how to fix the problem. The double jump ring is perfect as you are wrapping them around double rings! Genius and completes the look! Thank you for another gorgeous look!
Thanks so much Jill, I appreciate your kind words!
Absolutely love this link! Thank you for the tutorial, and for taking us on your trip! And, yes, I want to hear the story~
You’re very welcome Shirley! 😁
Gorgeous!
Thanks so much Jeannine!
I’m making one now 😁
@@jeanninej224 I hope you'll post a pic in the facebook group when you are done!?😄
This is a beautiful chain Linda and enjoy hearing about your cruise 😊 I do always worry about wearing copper even though it's a beautiful colour, thanks again 💜
Thanks Tracey, please tell me your particular worries about wearing copper, I would love to know!?
Great link thank you🤩🤩💜💛🩵💚🧡
I'm so glad you liked it!
Oddly, I enjoy the earring tutorials more than the links. I have made less of my own chain because people don’t want to pay the extra that I need to charge for a handmade chain. Of course, it’s been harder here to sell jewelry. Economy is rough.
Hey Sharen, I don't know what it is but everytime I post a tutorial for something other than chain links my views go down dramatically, I wish I knew the reason why! Personally, I would pay extra for a handmade chain, especially if it was designed to enhance whatever the focal is!!! Sorry to hear about the economy being so rough at the moment, but I fear it will only get worse for you before it gets better! I hope you are well and enjoying your newly decorated and organised studio!?
@ Hey, Linda. I agree on the chain. I don’t know what it is., but my sales are down on everything. I expect we are in for a rough ride here. I am in my lovely studio every day! I am churning out paintings right and left. Oh, and so glad you enjoyed your cruise.
@ Please post some more pics of your artwork in the FB group, everyone loved them last time and some jewellery pics would be great too! 😁😘
Thanks for another great tutorial. Love the different sizes of the links. I'm not sure why your last video wasn't popular as I really liked your earring design.
Hi Dianne, You're very welcome and I really loved that earring design too! 😊
Hi, I’m new to tumbling, got one for Christmas. How long do you tumble for? Thanks. I’m going to try this and leave a tail to wrap around over the center, see if that works.
Hi, I usually tumble for about an hour, just make sure if you use and gemstones that you check the Mohs hardness scale first and don't tumble any Czech beads as the finish will come off! I hope this helps! Let me know How the wrap around the centre works for you ok?
I love your links and how you combine the pieces you make to make cohesive and gorgeous jewelry. There's just one thing...i think the reason the last video wasn't as popular is because you have a lot of negative self talk and it can be off putting. I tried to talk to you about this on Messenger but you haven't looked at the messages. I wish that you would speak kinder to yourself. You are incredibly talented and do beautiful work. So, be proud...everyone has to make tweaks and things go wrong when we're working and it always seems to happen more when the camera is rolling. I just want you to see the beautiful, creative, talented woman, who is an incredible teacher to others within this amazing community of jewelry makers! I'm glad that you enjoyed your cruise. My husband and I are hoping to go on our first one this year. Have a wonderful day. I hope that you read this message with the intent that I wrote it...with love, support, respect and kindness. ~ Heather 😊🫶🏻📿❤️
Thank you for your kind words Heather, I really appreciate your feedback and I'm so glad you enjoy my work! 😊
@GumnutLaneJewellery I most certainly do!! 😊 Have a fabYOUlous rest of your day!! 😊🫶🏻📿❤️
Such a lovely link and the bracelet is beautiful! I’d wear that in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for sharing it with us! ❤
You're so sweet, I'm glad you love it! 😊
Beautiful link and the earrings tutorial you posted last was beautiful too! Please keep posting those and rings and all. All your work is amazing 😍😍! Loved your room ! I hope you enjoyed your cruise ❤
You are so sweet, thank you so much for your kind words! I am so glad you are loving all of my work and yes I enjoyed the cruise very much!😘
this is beautiful!
Thank you!
Linda what link is on the chain that looks like two tear drops joined together? Wow odd sounds at the end, like your audio slowed way way down or something
Hi Deborah, the links are coiled U shaped links that I just bent into a teardrop shape and linked together, I don't think I did a tutorial on that particular link! I know those sounds are so eerie aren't they, Obviously something went wrong with my audio at the time! Have a wonderful week!
