The Gibb - Part 2 - Bell to Manning Gorge
We continued on our adventure down the Gibb River Road and explore the magnificent Bell, Galvans and Manning Gorges. The kids were absolute troopers walking along dusty trails in the heat.
It is impossible to pick which Gorge was our favourite.

The First Week on the Gibb River Road - Derby to Tunnel Creek
มุมมอง 25421 วันที่ผ่านมา
We pulled the trigger and set off on the one of the most revered tracks in Australia - the mighty Gibb River Road. She is 800km of corrugations, gorges and creeks stretching across the Kimberly Region of Western Australia. We kicked off our trip at Birdwood Downs Station and took a short trip tip the road to Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek - the latter being one of the highlights of our trip so...
Wickham to Broome

Karijini to Wickham

We managed to embrace the rain and emerged a little muddy during our stay in Karijini but after rain comes sunshine and that let us to some amazing days of exploring Karijini, Millstream National Park and Python Pool. To cap it off, Emma got to show off her home town of Wickham to the kids from the vantage of Tank Hill. Apologies for the lateness of the videos - it turns out travelling across A...
Our First Week on the Road! Perth to Karijini

We hit the road on our biggest adventure yet with Ceddie in tow and the little munchkins making fart jokes in the back. It's been a long time coming and we are so excited to finally be on the road. Our first stop was Wubin Rocks which is about 3 hours north of Perth on the Great Northern Highway. We highly recommend this spot as it is full of open spaces, lots of fire wood and had the most amaz...
Intro to the Ceduna Quad 15 Mk3
มุมมอง 2.7K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
We took our Ceduna 15 Quad Mk3 for its first proper test run over the Easter Long Weekend. We had the chance to sit down and go through our first impressions of the new van. All in all we think it’s a great but there are a few little improvements that could make it even better.

    really looking into getting the ceduna 15 considering the amount of kit you get for the price. How is the overall quality build since having it for a few months?

    • @Campbell-Adventures
      @Campbell-Adventures หลายเดือนก่อน

      The van has help up pretty well given the tracks we'e put her through. For the price and what you get I don't think there are any other vans that would be better. But you always have a few teething issues as well. The anti flap kit is terrible. The diesel heater could definitely be better and we've had a few electrical issues that need to be taken care of under warranty. We've got a service coming up in a couple of weeks so we'll see if they can sort everything out. Im planning to do a run through of some tips for the van. Keep an eye out.

    What is wrong with you guys? No sponsors flashing across the screen, no bullbar, no 5-inch lift? what about the 30K in accessories? No 150k+ caravan? Bugger You're my sort of family traveling Oz. Love what I see so far, keep up the good work, and enjoy your travels. I'm hooked.

      @@Mixos_place thanks for the feedback. It’s amazing what a stock modern day 4wd can do. Didn’t see the need for the bull bar and we’d be pushing the weight limit without a GVM upgrade. Money we’d rather spend on adventures. We only drive during the day so hopefully we don’t get into any strife. The van pulls great and we’ve only had a few issues that have now been sorted. She survived the Gibb better than expected. Cheers!!

    Just caught up with you guys and want to let you know that we also have a hybrid, Signature Iridium 13s, and it too has the shitty anti-flap system. After several arguments my other half decided to number and initial each part, i.e. 1F or 2R etc, to make it a little easier, and it has. Also the more we've put them on the quicker the job's become but this really is a bit of an issue with the imported hybrids. Although having said this you need the anti-flaps to put up any of the walls of the annex which we have used and find brilliant if we're set up for a few days. Will be watching to see if you come up with a solution. Enjoy your trip!!

    Awesome. Thinking of getting one. So will watch all the adventures. Does it tow well? We have a hilux and we are thinking of getting airbags. Did you get suspension upgrade at all?

    • @Alexcampbelloz
      @Alexcampbelloz 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Gday Michael, we have put airbags on the rear to account to the 280-300kg towball weight. We’ve just did a weigh in at a public weigh bridge with the water tanks full. We had about 60kg left on the 3 tonne atm. When hitched the GVM on our car was 2680 (2800 max) with all passengers inside. Note that we’re not putting a bull bar on otherwise we’d have to do a gvm upgrade. We might do it later down the track but that will be an 8-10k exercise. I would assume a 300kg towball weight, add that to your existing weight and see how you go. Keep in mind that each axles has its own weight rating. Hope that helps.

    • @Alexcampbelloz
      @Alexcampbelloz 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Also, tows well at about 95km/h. Tows best with about 50% in the water tanks.

      @@Alexcampbelloz quick question, if you don't mind. What vehicle are you using to tow with? Also considering one of their hybrids and concerned about tow weight is all. My calcs add up for my Ute, just wanted to do a power comparison. tia. Peter
