can you read a sd card on those lapdock without a phone connected to it ? thanks

The half keyboard one would be perfect if you fly a lot as it would fit the tray with the screen tilted back to see without the keyboard being too close, outside of that seems an odd choice, the mini I would buy straight away if it had usb-c power as its the perfect travel size

Hello, I bought the X pro 14 model with 60 Htz full HD screen. When I connect my samsung S20 plus via cable, both keyboard and trackpad work, but if I connect my phone wirelessly, the keyboard doesn't work.

You also didn’t use a MagSafe case…. So you are expecting magnets which are less than 2mm thick to hold your phone up with 4mm in between them. Not gonna happen…

I'm very curious you have two devices with the identical use case.... So why are you still using both? Even if one is just a hair better than the other, i would think the other would end up unused.

I've had the Nexdock Touch for a few years now. The battery standby is very good. The speakers are garbage. I usually disable the touch pad and use a Bluetooth Mouse. The cable going from my Nexdock to my Samsung Phone has always been a little touchy. I've had 4 Samsung Phones so I know it isn't just a phone thing.

Hi, I'm after 2 important info about these devices, can you please test out how viable these devices using a music creation app, like FL studio mobile, or any app with a piano roll, or drum pads. really wish to see the touch delay and how many fingers it registers simultanously. second thing is that gesture that enables the screen controls, is there a way to disable it?

Very useful. Thx. It fascinates me on how quickly or slowly different people speak. I watched most of it at 1.5x normal speed as it was too painful at regular speed .lol.

I was have exactly same bug. Its because you moved your outpost beacon, you probably cant use workbenches in your outpost. Load save before you build outpost and never again touch beacon when you place it.

I entered my cockpit from deimos staryard and instantly got teleported to new atlantis lol. Loaded, tried it again, then next time it teleported me under new atlantis in my ship. I started firing my ship weapons into the city but nobody could hit me bc I was underground😆

wonder whats the resale value (exluding battery cost) for these lapdocks as it hardly ages. Not having OSD settings for Touch version was a bummer. i guess the Charging phone toggle could be resolved by USB PAUSE charging setting in ONE UI 6 though

Do you know by chance if the keyboard on the NexDock wireless can be used in bluetooth mode with the screen folded around to the back? Using it as a lap/desk bluetooth keyboard by itself? I have the NexDock 360 and once the screen is rotated around it disables the keyboard. Which makes sense that it does.

i got the uperfect for $220 and couldn't find that deal for the nexdock.

Was the audio coming out from your lapdock or your samsung phone? Because i had seen another video that when the dex been connected to a monitor, ang when a video has been played the sound was not coming from the monitor but from the phone itself

Could I ask, how is the Nexdock Wireless for photo editing in terms of touch screen accuracy and responsiveness - nothing crazy, just basic photo management, touch ups and tweaking (e.g. in the Samsung Gallery app)?

Cheers. I just go into these lapdocks after picking up a cheap 16" 2k monitor for my newly acquired Steam Deck. It worked fine but you needed a power bank for power, and a keyboard/ mouse. I did look at Nexdocks first but uPerfect has these frequent sales and I ended up picking up the Uperfect mini and the 15.6 4K one for a reasonable price. As you say, the mini is very plasticky but seems to do its job quite well. Palm rejection is poor but at least you can switch off the trackpad quickly and you can hook up a mouse to the OTG usb ports. The 4k one has a great screen but the keyboard attachment is a bit iffy. However when it works it's pretty good. Dex with 4k, you could pretty much just take this and your Samsung phone and do most laptop-y things including a bit of MS Office work.

Hello. What do you tink about the Zeuslap lapdocks? They have a 15.6 inch option and it has more ports than the Nexdock. Perhaps someone could guide me to a trustworthy source where I can find more info on it because I cant find any sources on it Thanks!

NexDock needs to make a NexPad 2 with battery this time. Speakers too would be nice.

Why can't one of these comp just clone the HP X3 Elite? Take the best 1080P screen available, best speakers, largest battery that will fit and make something that will push lapdocks mainstream?

I want a firmware upgrade for my original 360. I have no palm rejection. Cost of early adoption I guess but hesitant to buy NexDock again ..

I always love the NexDock for having three USB-C port, but its limited availability makes me choose the UPERFECT despite only having two USB-C port for the X. However, UPERFECT is still ahead of Nex when it comes to detachable screen lapdock. Nex is still yet to make a direct rival to the UPERFECT X Pro 15.6.

Seeing the Mini still hurts for all the wasted potential...

The NexDock 360 wired works with Pantera Pico PC Windows 11. Connected like Raspberry Pi. Haven't had any problems so far. Users were not supposed to update to Windows 11 yet, but I did anyway. So, no problems. I'm too cheap to buy the wireless when I already have the 360 wired. Who knows what they will come up with next. Using it with OnePlus 9 experimental desktop has one drawback. All icones on the phone are erased leaving an empty desktop on the phone. Happens every time no matter wich launcher I use. As long as I am in the launcher everything works fine.

The Uperfect part you put in twice by mistake. Good run down though.
