I did mine at a local college but its worth looking around at different ones for entry requirements, travel, and what matches the course your hoping to do at uni! Hope this helps :)

Yes definitely, especially during the holidays in town! During term time ask at the student union or look online
how many people share a flat?
In mine it was 6 of us total, some have more some have less, it really depends and you don't have a lot of say!
I heard that toilet paper is refilled by staff but is tht for shared bathrooms or for rooms that have individual bathrooms as well?
I think that's shared only
I believe this is only for communal/shared toilets, would highly recommend buying in bulk from amazon, saves a lot of time and saves you from carrying it back from the shops!

Hi, what is the situation with cleaning and drying clothes?
So, there's a cleaner that does the communal areas once a week, they take the bins out every morning and there are dryers with the washing machines!
Do all James black rooms and flats look like this ?
No so, it definitely depends on the band of room you have (This one is Band D). Also, they may be slightly different in size and layout!

Thanks! Usually, induction week for new students (freshers) starts on the 21st and then uni begins the week after. You can choose to move in the weekend before freshers or at an earlier/later date. Do you share the kitchen with other people?
For band D yes! But there is plenty of space, 2 cupboards each plus communal space

Hi, great video! can you tell me what the international accommodation is like, please? (If you know someone who lives there) and what's the difference for each band as the rents are different?
Hi! Unfortunately I can't speak for international students but each band has different features that effect the price! The cheapest is shared and the most expensive is a studio apartment. Band D rooms can range between £150-£162 per week

I agree! The great thing is, if your lucky enough to get amazing flatmates as I did, you can decorate your common space based on holidays all throughout the year! Our Halloween ones were especially well received by other students 🏆😄
