    There should be brokerage law in India. As a thumb rule always attach Aadhar card copy of Broker in Rent agreement receipt with mention of "one time brokerage amount of...".

    Sir, I have a gala of 155 sq ft in service industrial estate, but all other gala size is between 550 sq ft to 650 sq ft, 3 Galas are approximately 1150 square feet. I appeal to the society to charge service charges on a square foot basis, but the society charges the same for each., this is injustice for me, what should I do? Early response needed..

    Dubai real estate is not feasible. The monthly maintainence cost is way too high..... No sewage system.. Trucks coming daily to take out sewage.

    Yes, you have to file a case in the court. I did, have been waiting for almost six years. Lease amount 5 lakhs in the court bank account. My father struggled to construct this house at the age of his 65. He thought he can enjoy in the house but running to the court for every hearing . Spent almost 70k for lawyer fees and no interest out of deposit as it is in bank. The highlight of the first case judgement was, landlord (we) to pay deposit in the court (we deposited 6 years back, not sure Judge read the petition properly or not),tenant should not be punished (tenant never appeared in the court since last 6 years for hearing) , tenant is not required to pay any compensation but (we spent 70k so far lawyer fees) Now filed another case for court to involve in helping evicting the tenant not sure how many decade it is going to take. Tenant is enjoying the house without evicting the house.

    20 years into real estate. Please don't take this man seriously . When a broker or for that matter anyone promises that ek do saal mein double ho jaega likh ke lelo.. Just run from that person as you can never predict the market of any country . Gulf has always been very unstable and you never know whoz gonna attack whom . He just got lucky being there and made big in real estate but even after so many years of experience he used this line which 99% of road side brokers use - Sir lelo double ho jaega .. likh ke lelo mujhse. If u have planned to spend the rest of your life to live in Dubai then it makes sense to buy there but if you are an Indian and if you r thinking to buy in gulf for capital gains then its a very very risky affair .

    In this way it will take decades, owners will lose more money & time, some tenants misuse this to extort owners. AFAIK, there is a rule till the court proceedings are not complete, the tenants must continue to deposit rent in rent control board along with the gradual rent increment as per agreement. Can you please share more details on this are?
