While child support may have started with good intentions, it has now become a tool for destruction, enriching bitter co-parents and the state at the expense of families. Fathers, in particular, deserve the chance to demonstrate their commitment to their children. It's not just about numbers or some theoretical standard of living-it’s about the real, lived care and involvement of parents in their children's lives. And yet, we wonder why so many children from single-parent households end up in desperate situations-committing crimes, being trafficked, or ending up on the streets. This biased, broken system is one of the root causes. Wake up, America!

Why would a litigant have to pay an attorney to educate a judge on law?

Compared to other jurisdiction . Michigan law concerning step parent adoption is too strict. And it doesn’t allow best interest of the child consideration. Can you petition to make it easier for?

Can yall talk about default? Im in NJ, does a spouse on default lose all ot some assets even if the spouse that was on default appears. And does the other spouse not have to provide all assets because the other is in default?

Hi, I recently had my temporary restraining hearing, i was expecting for everything to be handle then, and now its going to trial in june. Meanwhile i havent seen my son in 4 months already, it will be nearly a year when the trial starts. I did get 2, 2 hour supervised visits a week granted. Im baffled how to me this is obviously a tatic to take my custodial rights being i don't have a record of dv. My ex was alienating and i heard her myself planning to leave to go back to ex husband. Then the smear campaign and gaslighting came, then she left parental kidnapping my son, not even giving a address where hes living. Then the stonewalling and more lies, naturally like a fool, in isolation I sent a bunch of messages all true not threatening but harsh wording, this went on 2 months until i finally figured out their address. I calmly went over knocked on door 2 separate times, wrong door then heard my son and knocked on right door. Then i was served with restraining order for pounding on door and demanding entry. I waa very close to my son, closest of anyone, to now absolutely nothing. Not sure how this adds up, she lied on her declaration and im just a crazy abuser. She is a narcissist 100% , I was idealized love bombed, devalued love triangulated, then discarded without a care. I was fine taking care of ex, her daughter, and son for 5 years, now i cant even see my son. I thought this was a easy case, she even fabricated drug evidence and judge is buying it all. Wont even acknowledge shes the abusive drunk, that emotionally abused me for 5 years. Right now i definitely need legal help, I know i need to do something fast, i just dont know what. My money is going to save my house and lawyer funds aren't immediately available. I need to save my son as well, Im just stuck. This woman came in and destroyed my world, i completely detached and am rebuilding, but time is not in my favor. Any help, advise, anything, would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for long comment. I got a notice stating that the courts want the child support to go up 660% from what it was set at (8years ago) and they mentioned that they were going to charge me back arrears on the new amount WTH, I never missed a payment…... I don’t have the ability to pay the new amount and it would instantly put me and my family into financial hardship! I filed the Dear colleague letter of 2023 with my paperwork to hopefully help out a little bit! I live in a different state and the court was on a zoom call ( may case was postponed) the judge had some kind of introduction of what to expect from the court, one of the things she said is “ whatever the child support calculator amount comes to is the amount that’s I go off of , I don’t care if you can’t make rent”… Talk about violating due process and the ability to pay! I have a few arguments to provide and will not be agreeing to this judges order! I go back to court in January!

My daughter died in 2019. She has two sons. She died and left her sons a large amount of money. In her will she asked me the maternal grandmother to become Gaurdianship. Father of the sons never was disqualified by being unstable. The attorney that represented me in the case later learned that the father was the godson of one of their family member. She the attorney continues staying in contact with me and the relative guiding the father on ways to what to do on a intimate level example telling me not to take the father back to court when he’d has not complied with court order. So I have permanent guardianship the attorney they represented me has a relative related to father shared my information to coach the father on how to get the upper hand.

I really appreciated it when the judge overseeing my (trans guy) gender/name change petition treated me with respect and used he/him in the court order and when talking about me in the third person. Ive heard horror stories from my friends about trans people being interrogated and dismissed by judges.

Add in coersive control domestic abuse, financial destruction, inabikity to pay to keep attorneys forcing Pro Se...and it is a perfect storm for constitutional and due process violations. My Judge has made so many biased, denigrating remarks about me, appears to have vilated the law a few times, abused contempt powers against valid defenses and please for help and protections, ex parte communication with GAL (who has no public training), violated PO and protected address ststutes, refused to allow me opening arguments, rested my case for me while depriving me of equal tome to present and severely limits evidence that gives context/foundation for relevant issues. It is an institutional/judicial abuse/betrayal that feels like I've been battered to death...and loat everything in an estate and gained no relief. like being looted. ..all while acting cozy with OC.

All of these county and state employees, directors, contractors, subcontractors, agents, law enforcement personnel, i.e. deputies, and other unknown state actors are acting under the “color of law” and committing fraud against the people. Learn your rights, study the law, defend yourself and never give them jurisdiction over you. How you do that is by attending their hearings and by pleading guilty or not guilty you never plead anything in their kangaroo court, you just tell him that you don’t understand the nature and cause of the hearing and ask them who the injured party is, because if there’s no injured party with more than $25 worth of damage, they have no basis to hold you or to detain you or to arrest you. Learn your rights. I can’t emphasize it enough. They are violating our rights due to our ignorance for not understanding the law. They will continue to infringe on your rights until you stand up for yourself confidently and take back what’s yours! Your property, your freedom, everything and sue their asses, one at a time because they’re acting under the color of law which is a clear violation. You could even file a color of law violation form with the court and name them as an entity or individually. I suggest you look that up. These people think they have immunity, newsflash, they don’t. You have to take measures and sue them for violating your due process rights. The first thing is you don’t plead guilty or not guilty. Because if you do that automatically gives them jurisdiction. Tell them you have a right to know who your accuser is. If there’s no accuser or injured partly with a signed affidavit that’s been put into evidence, and if there is no signed affidavit, you make a motion to dismiss the case, for lack of a signed affidavit by an accuser. If they try to say the state is the accuser, tell them that the state can’t be your accuser, your prosecutor and your judge, that is against the black letter of the law. These people know what’s up, they bank on our ignorance, and that’s how they get away with it because we don’t take the time to learn our rights and the law. The law is not as complicated as they would have you believe. Lawyers and judges belong to the same cartel, the American Bar Association. These fraudsters have turned our ignorance into a billion dollar a year industry. The U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights are still the Supreme Law of the land. I suggest you start learning them.
