​@@bardoon_ actually it was. I just had to spam roll upon landing on the ground. This is what I started doing on my later attempts at this boss. But it's still kinda bs. Because the first time it happens to you there's no way you'll see it coming.

I'm playing on a beta version of the next update that is about curses. One of the new mutations curses you for 20 every time you drink from the flask.

Apparently on the Conjunctivius+ tentacles hit you before their animation of popping out of the ground happens. And this seems to be consistent, you'll always get hit before tentacle actually appears.

@@LawreAnimations game doesn't register inputs during this transition, so its impossible to avoid that damage

Queen and Sea DLC

yeah there are scroll fragments that end up giving you more scrolls throughout the run. Also in 99% of runs i go to toxic sewers > ancient sewers because boss of those areas gives more fragments than other bosses.

if you die while getting her down to less than ~75% of hp then she will revive you to give you another chance. 🐸
