For too long ,magazines tv shows etc have lured us to believe we need certain things to make us feel a certain way instead of just accepting humankind for just being human . Stretch marks , cellulite , wobbles and wrinkles are all apart of normal , it shouldn’t be frowned upon . We are not robotic . The beauty industry makes an absolute fortune on peoples insecurities.

@@Jools81 ​​⁠they do make a lot of money, but I’m choosing to view it in the sense that makeup helps me feel more like myself. Skincare is me taking care of myself. I find that when I view it like that, it’s a positive and fun experience. Which is EXACTLY what it should be! It’s also why I make my living doing it: because it’s so FUN! (Don’t tell anyone 😉🤣)

@@eleniprovia7667 thank you! I’m always trying to be conscious and do what I can to be less wasteful. As a working pro, I use ALOT of disposables (for hygienic reasons) and some things can’t be avoided. But for myself personally, this tip works!

@@momratzen with that wig, it definitely wouldn’t work because of the bangs. I would dampen the hair and then brush back with hair gel. Use a strong hold hairspray to set it! They definitely have a ton of different wigs that Gaga wears in the film.

@@momratzen of course! What I would do in that case is use a strong hold gel on your wet hair, comb it back, set it in place with clips, then use a strong hold hair spray. You can let it air dry or help it dry faster with a cool blow dryer. That’s what I would do! ❤️

not in this case! You can of course set your concealer but the Tower 28 formula is a bit self-setting so I didn't need to. I wanted to keep the amount of products to a minimum too!

Thank you so much for your amazing feedback!! I love your philosophy of "enhancing makeup". Truly, that's all it really needs to be (for the most part). You're also totally right about the travel aspect. I might need to create a travel makeup kit for myself and do a video on that. It's a great way to figure out what I really need and the things you can add if you're wanting to amp it up (a red lipstick, smoky eyeshadow palette, etc). Thank you!

There absolutely is! If you have all of this makeup, you should definitely wear it especially since you say it's so pretty. I'll bet it will be even PRETTIER on YOU. What I would suggest is trying one new makeup thing each time you do your makeup, or even each week. That way, you can familiarize yourself with it and get used to it! Makeup is meant to enhance and I'm sure you can find something that makes you feel good.

I’m the same age and there are some good content creators who cater for our age group and do tutorials on more mature women. You can still get a minimal make up look that enhances features but uses all Of your products by teaching techniques to build your confidence

@@runijones2625 love hearing that! I also know that laser treatments are good for undereye darkness too, if that’s something you can do. Also, there are so many great concealers out there that are great at covering under eye darkness, the Tower one included. (If you haven’t found them already.)

I have genetic dark circles, back to my teens, now I don’t get a lot of sleep (chronic pain), and on top of that I *sort of* have eye bags, but at 57 things move, and I have ‘troughs’. I’ve tried all the tips and had been using salmon/pink (to counteract blue) colour corrector 1st (of MANY Catrice was my favourite formula. Then I would just do what she does and add a little extra concealer under my eyes. It never quite worked as well as I hoped (although one tip, never going up near lashes is a good one). Also like her, I don’t wear make up every day, only when I’m feeling well or want to ‘play’. I have a far too large eyeshadow collection. Anyway, on non makeup days, even with the darkness I actually found I looked better without doing all that, (surprisingly) less tired, less wrinkly/crinkly, and, although not a goal, younger. I’ve found a touch of pink powder, Jones Road I think, brightens but doesn’t look ‘makeupy’. Really good video.
