I had the hardest time getting Doomtrain because you had to get 6 Malboro tentacles. I could never kill those goddamn Malboros because they would inflict a plethora of status ailments on your party. I didn't have any sort of guides to help me back in the day because I didn't have internet yet. I can't remember exactly my strategy I used in the end I believe it was quickly using a Hero on Quistis and maybe using Squall's limit break or something? It took me ages to accomplish but getting every summon was always a huge goal of mine in FF7, FF8 and FF10 (I never played 9)
Seifer killing Odin was jaw dropping as a kid….
Diablos has to be first then Balamut, Doomtrain then Eden for me

I love how this almost makes it seem like Eden has it's own theme song
Jus image if the GF summons where Yu-Gi-OH monster blue eyes white dragon, red eyes blk dragon, Dark magician, dark magician of Chaos, Obelisk the tormentor, Slifer the sky dragon, winged dragon of Ra jus to name a few
Ths game is amazing to me the only thing I wish was mre GF nd 4 them to hve three attacks
Bahamut is still the most badass summon for me in this game, the way he made his entrance. It never fails to give me chills

hmm…gilgamesh has 4 attacking type in ff-8(all of them are attacking all enemies)，others are Excalipoor(give 1 pt damage ), Excaliber(attack with holy sword), and Masamune(attack with katana)
Ifrit and that spine bend tho.
I love that Diablos does what most other summons don't do. He EXITS.

This game is worthy for a HD remaster. This game never could step out of the shadow of FF VII despite it was fantastic.

favorite part of the 90s video games were the instruction guides to beat the games. They were so well put together and had great art work inside of them.

i bought remaster on the steam played it like 20 hours and now when i open the game its ok but when i get into in game play with squall my game crash and it switch off. Every time. Dont know how to fix it. 20 euros thrown away.

My favourite is "King of the Dragon's: BAHAMUT". Flying through the sky among the clouds, takes a look and heck...well you know the rest; in HIM saving your butt. Plus, this compilation can now be redone in the remastered version = looking forward to it! Well done. (8:42- 9:21)
