At 13:20 Grady Styles was incredibly abusive. My husband was involved in the case. He represented the son who hired the hit man who killed Grady. Grady’s wife hired her son’s (her son had a very low-level IQ) friend because she was a battered wife. My husband’s friend represented Teresa, the wife. She was the first wife in Florida to get off on a battered spouse’s defense. The hit man had a different attorney who settled for a plea deal and is out of prison. The attorney who initially worked on Teresa’s son’s case did a bad job. He got a life sentence (if I recall, it’s been a while). And all he did was hand over $200 to a guy per his mom’s instruction. And he didn’t really have the brains to think deeply and with forethought. He did as he was told. Teresa tried to get him a new trial. That’s where my husband came in. They’re not a very nice family at all. Grady’s daughter (in the picture) has the same condition as does her daughter. Way to pass down those genes.

I'm glad you expanded beyond the normal dozen or two performers in most videos. Some people have complained about animal performances, and I agree with them as an adult, but it was amazing to see many of these acts live in the 1960s.

I don't like animals used in circuses, it's fine if humans want to do that but often animals were badly treated. Never liked it even as a child.

There’s actually a zoo in Belize that you can actually go into the jaguar enclosure. They have a small cage that you sit in and can feed him raw meat through the bars. But other than the small cage for people, you’re completely open with the cat. While it’s a hell of an experience, it’s also dangerous as hell. Animals (especially wild ones) are unpredictable. The jaguar (I think it’s name was Junior) can easily decide that it wants to stalk prey, and then someone is dead. There’s not a human being alive that could fight off an animal like that. That kind of thing would *NEVER* happen here in the states. But if you’re going to Belize any time in the future, I would highly recommend going. It’s been more than 10 years since I was there, so it’s entirely possible that they’ may have quit taking people into the enclosure.
