This is based on Russians being competent and fully equipped which we all know that by now they have depleted most of their more advanced tech and that's with NATO pulling it's punches and not allow Ukraine to use offensive weapons. If NATO was to gift Ukraine the high end offensive missiles Russia would be done.

Terrific story so far though you're giving the Russians way too much credit. They aren't taking Rezekne on the first day. Their war planners may hope for that outcome but we 've all heard the old saying about how those things go out the window with the first contact with the enemy. Realistically the Russian would be hung up on Ludza or Karsava and might reach the outskirts of Rezekne within the first week. The invasion routes that they would have to take are too obvious. There will be no surprise shortcuts through the Ardennes for Ivan. They will bring to bear overwhelming force, find out that its not enough, grind away at the enemy defenses, and gradually force their way forward over a period of weeks. Of course that's boring so I see why you'd need to juice up their offensive. Who wants to read about the stalled Russian offensive that gets hit in the flanks by the Polish army on Day 3 and then has to use battle field nukes to forestall defeat.

Entertaining but totally unrealistic in as much as Sweden and Finland now are NATO, an attack on the Baltic countries would never be this isolated or countered with amphibious forces from the North Sea. Counter attacks would come thru Norway, Sweden and Finland. All within easy striking distance of the targets mentioned here.

My dad has an uncanny way of predicting what will happen in war situations. While I was in Marine Corp boot camp Iraq invaded Kuwait. Our drill instructors made a big deal of we were going to war. My dad wrote me and told me not to worry. That Iraq would go no further and other than a SCUD missle or two fired at Sadi Arabia would not be any more aggressive than they already had. He said they would dig in and create a defensive line along the highways leading into Kuwait. That they didn't know about out GPS units installed in the Army Bradley's, Abrams, Marine LAV and AAV. They did not understand the jamming capabilities of Navy and Marine Grawlers to create pathways for F-117, F-16, F-15 and F-111. There lines meant nothing as we would decapitate the leadership and instead of rolling down highways into ambush would roll across the open desert coming up behind them. He was right. He sees something like this actually happening but thinks it would take us about three to six months before crushing the Russian army and 8 yo 12 months before we would be occupying Moscow with out troops. He retired as the Command Sargeant Major of the 101st Airborn Division and spent his entire career planning the defense of Europe reworking that plan every 3 months based on intelligence. I trust his predictions

although this is a very well done video, and a very very cool situation and creative idea, none of this would happen, because in this age we have made war, at least a global war, illegal. Now I know that was a common statement in the interwar period, between ww1/ww2 from the league of nations, but back then, they did it by peace and treaties and promises, today we have done it by a much more terrifying way. We have done it with the creation of nuclear weapons, and they would start flying almost immediately. The way it was done in the interwar period was done just by treaties and promises, but now we have a solution for war that even cold harsh dictators like putin can understand. Utter annihilation. Not just for one country, but for the whole world, and with things like NATO, proves that you dont even have to be an atomic power and you and the enemy both will be vaporized. In our time, you can not have a war like this without atomization of the entire world. This is what is holding the peace of the world together. Not promises and treaties, but fear of having your country atomized. Also, war changes over time, war nowadays is fought with economies, and computers, this is the type of war we are fighting nowadays. Hopefully our western governments can realize this before it ends in a defeat

Funny story, and enjoyable. cudos for the creativeness :-) It is like watching Red dawn. But, Russia that couldn't have survived in WW2 without USA lend lease support. And today cannot defeat Ukraine which they outnumber 10/1 in manpower and hardware. Could in 8-10 years totally rebuild they're army and defense industry, to be able to face NATO? Russia army is combat experienced, however it looks like they refuse to adapt and evolve to modern warfare tactics. China's army has no real combat experience, and are trained by non-combat experienced personel. Regardless of China cheap copy military hardware in amounts, i seriously doubt that this would work at any level.
