I just had to replace one of these here in Canada 🇨🇦 & went to local plumbing store and found out Moen has a great replacement program for the cartridge....bring in the old one and for $2.24 I got a brand new cartridge there is no time limit on the warranty part.

This is total bullshit... You never change the first oil change this early in a Honda V6. Honda puts a special moly oil in this car and should not be changed for 4000 miles. I can tell you don't know what you're talking about as you certainly do not need to take the wheel off or use a pipewrench! to get the filter off. You should be banned for stupid auto maintenance information!

Looking forward to your thoughts after the 6k miles with this filter. I prefer WIX and am certainly not sold on putting another manufacturers OEM part in, with specs that don't align with Subaru's

Why would you NOT put Subaru OEM fluid in your transmission when the cost is the same as the Idemitsu? With only 57K miles, you risk Subaru voiding your 10yr/100K mile warranty by not using their recommended fluid.

What size/diameter was the hose for the funnel? Edit. I found the answer on another comment below😅

The Moen one is not the correct size for some fittings, Moen is slightly longer then everbiult, I had to sand it down for it to fit, then it had a very small leak, so I went and got 1222 everbilt , and It worked perfectly

u can also go to the junk yard and get a turn signal stalk from a celica highlander or camry with the fog switch it'll work it's prewired 4cyl highlanders are sometimes not prewired

We had issues with Michelin tires on one of our cars. Very very soft sidewalls that could puncture easily. After going through about 6 tires, we were recommended Nokian by the service advisor. I’m glad we did. Two years, maybe 1/3 or less worn after 12,000 miles, zero pressure loss or punctures, and BETTER than snow tires we’ve had during the winter. I’m sold on Nokian.

I just finished doing this for my daughter’s 2018 Subaru Outback with 86K. Quick notes: drained cold at 60F; got out ~4qts Added ~ 3qts+ using braided plastic hose 3/8” ID 5/8” OD and funnel under hood Added remaining 1Qt at 99F-115F. Engine took 1 hr to reach mid way dash temp gauge ~ 115F on thermal gun. Entire job took me about 2 hours from set up to button up car for test drive. FWIW Subaru CVT -II was green and $108 for 6 QTs at dealer. Old fluid was dark green/lite brown.

2024 Austin Tx Called a plumbing company to see if they could stop my leaky shower head. Came over and quoted me $450+ to replace the valve cartridge. Went to Lowe’s bought the piece and installed it myself. Cost $60 and 45 min. In case someone was wondering if it’s worth it to try yourself. Thank you for the video!!

incandescent is definitely brighter. because the housing is designed for that type of bulb.

I use Purolator in everything. No offense but that Subaru filter looks like a piece of junk. Hardly any casings etc. I’d use that Purolator!
