It was a very critiqued remake. Although a lot of early horror remakes seemed to get slammed. I guess people just don’t want to let go of the past sometimes 😅 luckily I have a few duplicate tapes to swap out the poltergeist case with. Was so disappointing but you get that sometimes. @@goodowner5000 wow I had no idea about the rebel without a cause curse. I obviously new of James dean but not the rest. How very interesting. I’m unsure what the tape entails just yet but I’m keen to check it out. I guess it all depends on when the tape was released. Especially in regards to the o.j trial. Wouldn’t mind hearing more on Christopher Reeve too. Such a icon of his time. That’s very true. It probably didn’t need to be made regardless but as you said it ain’t broke so it’s watchable. Nobody can touch Perkins in my eyes either but Vaughn had a decent crack. I’ll have to check into those movies soon! No need to apologise. @@DeonCrawley respect the mum chucking 😂 if only she could of known the value of some of those tapes 😂 they are a big collectors piece taking up a lot of space. Some of the prices just blow my mind. Was only a couple years back they where overflowing shops for 0.50 cents a piece. Nostalgia always wins 😂 thanks for watching legend!

@@devernepersonal3636 Couldn’t agree more. It’s just a shame it never got a good time slot in its original run time. If they got to keep striking while the iron was hot god knows how many more classic and well written episodes we would have

@@ninchmovies good point, either that or it would have become the Simpsons and just get worse and worse and never go away. It’s hard to say what the perfect run is for a show. Maybe those limited series that come in knowing they will tell a story in three seasons. Then again not sure how that works episodically, other than SpongeBob slowly turned to trash after season 3. Even it has good episodes that only exist because of its constant milking. So who knows. Kind of would’ve have been nice to see that reality for Futurama I guess.

@@devernepersonal3636 I think it’s hard to gage on a good run for animation due to the fact the episodes don’t need to link in story. Really just depends when you are still running a show years on and writers from the original run have moved onto other projects. Not sure but I agree with you. Sometimes you just can’t out do you’re classics and need to just let the show rest on a good note. But money and greed will always come first in the industry I guess

@@ninchmovies makes the voice actors happy at least. whether or not the episodes are good, it does give them work and pride and they all seem to have a lot of fun doing the voices. so there is that.

I appreciate the watch legend! It was a okay watch, I did like the alien origin story and seeing a future Jamaica. But wasn’t there best effort

@@MattVs_Movies currently just focused on vhs but I do have dvds, Blu rays. And I was collecting retro video games for a while. Tbh collecting movies in Australia has become rather dead with really only one decent movie store left when 10 years ago there was many options

@@ninchmovies that's a shame. Buying online is the way I purchase movies here in the UK. I have a small collection of VHS but mainly blu ray and 4k. I still have some DVDS as well

@@DeniseRCruz My fiancé purchased the bulk posters from a market so it’s was more just a choice of movies she thought I’d be interested in. Genuinely I haven’t seen the elm street remake since it came out. Definitely doesn’t touch the original. I’ve also been so intrigued by m.a.s.h too but it’s just too much to store right now 😂 $30 for close to 100 tapes though is impressive. That’s alright can’t always find everything you want in a day! @@ninchmoviesDVDs were about £19.99 at start and you could get them Region 1 for $19.99 plus $2 shipping. Used to have to push 1234 or something sim on your controller to break the reigon lock from 2 to 0 and the OGs apart from new films out would be the films Not been out on VHS is some time i remember i only brought one to get vacation (True story) as it wasn't out on VHS anymore.. I'm Guessing you know of Lazer Disk? they are a pain to use had to turn them over so were never big BUt the Art work was like album art work

My man it’s good to hear from you! Always coming in with the movie knowledge needed. Always keen on a under appreciated film and you’ve sold me on Capricorn one. Might give it a watch tomorrow if I get the chance. Like I said they must of had close to a whole collection of m.a.s.h there had me very tempted but storing it would be a real challenge. Been intrigued with the show ever since my ufo cover up watch, where the presenter is one of the mash’s stars. Yeah wow I didn’t realise it beat out saving private Ryan, no wonder it has such a negative reception in terms of a Oscar winner. Appreciate ya legend! Always
