Haha thank you, that made me laugh 😆 and yes I'm surprised I can deal with the no window but we were right next to a lift that took straight up to the pool deck so I knew I always had that espcase to fresh air 😊

@jodicross439 😀 I remember once down here on holiday I opened the plastic skylight in the caravan and it dropped down on my head!😀 Had to buy superglue at the local shop to fix it!😀 I'd feel a bit claustrophobic with no window in a cabin...I'd have to have a picture of one on the TV instead overnight!😀📺

Oh dear ouch! At least you managed to fix it. And yes you could always take your own photo of a window lol I forgot to say in the video actually on one of the TV channels there is a webcam of the outside of the ship so you can take a look at where you are the weather etc 😊

We were so lucky with the weather, like you we made the most of it by visiting the water park! We totally packed wrong but we didn't expect to be sunbathing mid October! I must say your children are a credit to you, so well behaved, watching them dance all through the vlog made me smile. Enjoy any future cruises, we have booked to go at christmas so I can't wait for that. I shall look forward to your bruges volg. 😘

Awww thank you so much, they really took a liking to dancing whilst onboard, they really did dance everywhere 🤩 And yes we were the same had our coats and jumpers packed! No more cruises booked for us(yet) but we are already saving up😊 But oh how exciting for you and at Christmas as well, I may be a little bit jealous lol have a fantastic time 😃🛳️❤️

@@stevehart1581 haha yes there was so much food, it had a 20 hour buffet 😆 we had such a fantastic time and I think the weather played a big part in that 🌞 but yes the cabin definitely feels compact having the kids beds above us but a good compromise for the price! Thank you so much for watching 😃

I suspect you'll be going on another cruise next year and ditching us down here in St Ives next year!😂🏖

Thank you yes the anxiety hit hard that one particular evening, I think everything just got to me and I had a moment, but I was so glad I was able to quickly move past it😊 We definitely have some decisions to make but tbh the cruise we went on last year was actually our very first holiday out of the UK and I loved it so much I really wanted to do it again, and this one we got for a great price and helped me get it out of my system lol But for the first time in my life I actually want to go on hoildays . The kids ask to go back to St Ives all the time the beaches were so amazing for them so we have said we would like to go back and then maybe a cruise in a fews years time 😊

Ahhh is it, I bet it's still beautiful with the damp weather😊 Your probably right actually, this cruise did cost us less then going down to St Ives but next time we won't have that amazing accomodation and look for something a lot more affordable 😁

Oh goodness yes the hills, you just reminded me, I actually thought after I made this video I forgot to mention the hills, it was hard work trying to walk back to the apartment after a day out lol I couldn't work out why there were older people walking these hills whilst I was struggling to breath 😅

Thank you😊 Wow sounds like you've had a some great times in St Ives and you must have seen some big changes too! I would have just been a few months old back in 1983, it's a shame there isn't any vlogs from back then, it would have been great to see the difference lol And yes we definitely noticed the expense of food, but it's such a beautiful place, it must be wonderful to live there. I used to be a photographic researcher for St Ives Trust Arcive Centre and digitalised many old photos of St Ives from the early 1900's. Sadly the fishing industry has nearly gone, just expensive bars and restaurants now for tourists. My mum said your children were so well behaved on your holiday! Btw..I suffer from bad anxiety too, since a teenager; it's an absolute curse isn't it😫

Thank you to your mum for the kind words, I am blessed with wonderful children, of course they have their moments I just don't film that part 😆 Anxiety is such an awful thing, sorry to hear to suffer with it, I hope it doesn't hold you back to much. I spent 10 years not going out anywhere or not being able to walk to the shop by myself so I'm making up for lost time now 😊

Hi we stayed at Carrack Widden apartments which you can find on booking .com or cornish escapes. Our apartment was number 35. There were a few different accomodation along the same street which I imagine would have the same view. Hope this helps, thanks 😊

Agree 100%, very sad - it’s lovely to look at if you look in the right places. But as with every Cornish town the simple fact is that social deprivation is always behind the curtains - in st Ives case most definitely. Tourists are seeing an “idea” of what Cornwall is, not the true Cornwall we live in. Just a fact of life.

@@richjackson8349 So true. Before moving away late last year, I volunteered at St Ives food bank. Shocking. 70% of users were in work. In half of those, both adults were working. And 20,000 on the social housing list in Cornwall. There is something rotten in the kingdom of Kernow.

Hi, thank you I'm happy you enjoyed the video🙂 We stayed in Carrack Widden apartments looking down on Porthminster beach. I just had a look on booking.com to find the price because I couldn't remember exactly and it's hard to find as many dates are booked but I found a price for March which was around £600 for a week and I believe we paid £200 more then that, but high season I expect to be a lot higher. Hope this helps 🙂

Thank you I'm really glad you enjoyed this video, it was a beautiful place to show off and yes the weather definitely helped 😊 I completely agree with you the food was reasonable especially for St Ives, we just aren't used to spending a lot of money on food, we never eat out because we are always saving money for our next adventure. In our local area they do kids fish and chips that would feed an adult for £2 so I think it was just a shock for us 🤣 but as the week went on and got used to it we ended up paying £30 for a coffee and 3 ice creams in the tate without thinking to much of it lol.
