I remember my experience playing BLM leading up to getting F4... I didn't look up any of the rotations and kinda forgot i'd get a new skill or have no idea where to incorporate certain skills, so i just ended up bouncing back and forth between F3 and B3 until somebody yelled at me about it.

I have been using plugins and shit for years and one of the first things I knew is that I can't stream on Twitch using them because its pretty much a self report if you do.

There are ways to fix leylines. In WoW mages have a similar spell, only not as powerful. It has more than one stack. Black Mage should get something similar, but maybe a slight nerf to the potency. That way you'd have them do more mechanics without losing overall dps.

I will say that as painful as BLM can be, Pint is absolutely right: when it's flowing, it's pure ecstasy. One of my favorite dungeon runs of all time was when I was one of two BLMs in Stigma Dreamscape: Dual Flares going off was just a thing of pure beauty as you watched mob HP bars visibly plummet with each cast.

I get certain UI mods shouldn't be allowed like the ones that make fights super easy, but at the same time other UI mods that let you customize the game to look better should definitely be allowed. Also, they need to figure out a system that makes it more obvious what kind of mechanic bosses are going to use in casual content because it's annoying as hell playing a dungeon you haven't played in months and getting hit by mechanics that have to telegraph to them, maybe an icon on the cast bar for the mechanic that makes it easier to remember what that mechanic does. Obviously higher-end content like savage and ultimate's wouldn't have anything to give the mechanics away because that's how they make the fights harder, but most people use UI mods because there are way too many boss ability names and mechanics to remember at this point that it's near impossible to keep track of everything.

There genuinely is something to how WOW conditions its players, it really shows when they come across to other games, the amount of stories ive heared of people saying they've played with wow refugees and they are doing things like needlessly apologising and being overly critical of themselves is heartbreaking.

I decided to play a miqo'te because I hadn't played a female character or an anime-esque character in a long, long time and felt like leaning into it. After a full year however, I am now 100% convinced. Miqo'te supremacy. May catgirls reign forever.

I've been playing Sage recently, and it's fun. As soon as I get into an instance, pretty much the very first thing I always do is toss Kardia onto the Tank. And if you have two Sages, their combined shields can sometimes mitigate damage enough that even bosses will do 0 damage with their attacks. And I find it hilarious that Sages can allow the party to literally just completely no-sell a boss's attack. On a separate note, I feel like the Sage's obvious inspiration coming from the Nu Gundam has a bit of a sad origin. Yoshi-P had lost a good friend of his to cancer who also happened to have been an avid FF XIV player and fan, by the name of Maidy (of "Dad of Light" fame, as the titular dad was Maidy's dad). It turns out that Yoshi-P had given Maidy a Nu Gundam Gunpla kit as a gift in the hope that it would inspire Maidy to win their fight with cancer, but that model kit would sadly never leave it's box, as Maidy would ultimately lose their fight with cancer not long after. And then it wasn't too long after that when Soken revealed that he was also battling cancer. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Sage was Yoshi-P's way of "finishing" Maidy's Nu Gundam in their memory.
