I have a thing for chaos formats which this felt sort of similar too as you are beating down with somewhat mediocre cards, like where else will Warded Battlements shine? My monoblack deck idea uses bone dancer and centers around messing with the top card if the graveyard.

I do what I call the "double eight" cut. I take eight cards off the top and put them on the bottom, then I take eight more cards off the top and put them roughly in the middle of the deck.

I just started playing Hollow knight and with out this guide, i wuld have been stuck for shure! Thank you!

I like how you put it im going to proxie deck i intend on putting together in real cards. As you said i want to fine tune the deck and i dont wamma spend 700 dollars doing that. Im fine with proxies as long as your not just doing to blow out all the other decks with CEDH. I just want to have fun and play the game.

An important thing is also to look closely at action cards and make sure you play them in correct order, it could get you anywhere from 1 more card drawn to a province. If something looks like it won’t work in one way but will in others, look at it closely

Looks solid! The relics put in a ton of work - honestly wonder if you could run them in the main deck. Instant-speed free raven activations, plus there are just a ton of decks that like having cards in their graveyard

Can you do a video covering instances where a player dies while controlling a permanent another player owns reanimation of creatures another player owned and so forth? Great explanations!

Something to add: technically all cards are proxies. When you play a card, you arent actually playing a card, you are playing the representation of a game piece. All cards are just stand ins for the game piece they represent, and since proxies are the stand ins for the cards that represent those game pieces, you are technically not violating rules, since it still ends up representing that game piece. Also, i dont actually know why proxies arent allowed in tourneys. If a card that you bring in has too much damage on it, they will just allow you to swap it for a proxy in many sanctioned events anyways, and even aside from that, with how expensive formats like modern are right now, you may as well be playing tourneys online or with proxies. I do get it to an extent though, sometime its just easier to not allow proxied cards.

playing using proxies with friends seems very different to me then playing at an LGS with proxies, as it seems more like a tournament with a prize even some times & bigger tournaments don't allow proxie cards?

I like to proxie my expensive cards so I can play using the proxie & not damage the real card. It is not about having the real card or not, it is about wanting to protect the cards u have. Having the card & playing it well not using or damaging the card. Also I can see why to proxie a card u don't own & would say it is good for testing. The big problem I have with it is if my proxie was to look too real I would not want it because how could I tell it is just a proxie with out card damage & good memory when I am going over cards I no-longer need.

Hi! Great video. I have some questions. After regular combat damage players get priority? With an instant spell can I destroy or exile a permanent or erase his ability in some way so that the card's end of combat step ability does not occur? At the end of the video what do you mean when you say "...creatures are removed from combat..."? Are you referring to the creatures that died in combat or/and all the creatures as if creatures have to enter and exit combat every time? Thanx in advance!

I played my first game of magic about 2 months ago and this was definitely me, luckily the people I play with have like 4 extra mats ,gave me golden sleeves for my commanders and then I just had to buy the sleeves for the rest of my cards
