My cap is fine I ended up taking the tether off because I didn’t use it

I replaced mine and everything runs fine and doesn't say coolant level is low BUT now it threw code U019F - Lost communication w/ engine coolant pump control. Any thoughts on How to fix this?

Thanks for vid. Our 2019 sorento has oil that disappears. No leaks. So will try this. Yesterday a cylinder was misfiring so replaced that spark plug and works ok. Will change the other 3 and the pvc valve too. Hope for the best..thx

Awesome video and Im going to do the same thing with my 2016 BMW 528i Xdrive with 158k miles on it. I purchased a BMW original part for $50 and dont have to replace the whole bracket since the new one will pop into place using the existing bracket to save a bunch of wrenching time.

If you're here and want to clean/replace the purge valve, I watched my mechanic do it the easy way. He didn't feel that cleaning was a good solution and always replaces these. If you're doing it yourself, might as well give it a try. After disconnecting the cable, he disconnected the hose from the tube at the manifold, unbolted the assembly from the side, disconnected the bottom hose from the canister, then he had the whole assembly out where he could easily work on it. Easier to get to the screws that hold the valve to the mounting and less likely to drop something into never-never land. :)

It’s not as easy as he says I had to drop I had to drop the carbon box down to get the rear solenoid it’s a pain in the butt and I’m a aircraft mechanic it beats taking it to a shop costing 7..8 hundred dollars to replace it .

It would have been nice to know what tools I needed before I left the auto parts store. This is almost a useless video. There are people who travel and don’t always have to tools, with them, that they normally have at home.

Good detailed video. Are the worm clamps on the air tubes really metric? I have heard 7mm, 8mm, but a 5/16 nutdriver fits fine.

Thanks so much for the video . I have the very same problem and my clutch moves with out any problem . I checked the fuses all good. Clutch isn’t engaging is the problem . Did you also bypass the sensor to start the compressor ?

Did you empty all coolant or just siphon out what was in the tank? Did you have to do anything after installing the new tank to make sure no air was in your system?
