Update - The check coolant level light came back shortly after this sensor replacement. The issue was a float in the tank. I replaced the entire tank and that fixed the issue.
Did you notice the expansion tank filling up when the check coolant level light was on? I'm troubleshooting the same coolant level light problem on my 2015 528i, and this video is easily the best one showing how to replace the sensor!

@@psykocid3103 No, not OEM. It was an aftermarket reservoir. I made a video about that install so check it out if interested.

I replaced the coolant sensor but I still get the same warning message. Any idea what I could be?
It may be the float inside the reservoir . Check to see if the float is functioning.
