No wonder the chocolate cartel were never around during the events of Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory because they were arrested and imprisoned during the events of the original film because Wonka is a prequel to the original film and we could tell the chocolate cartel were never around during the events of the original film because they were in jail for their crimes

Now This is how you end a movie! A crescendo to leave the audience on an emotional high so they want more. 🎉 You really don’t see that very much in cinema. Also, on a side note, how Timothee is using the cane really pays homage to the original.

Still garbage. Nothing more than a lazy attempt at remaking something that didn't need a reamke because it was perfection the first tiem. And you can all still suck it.

This is so much better when you saw the original

This movie was lovely and whimsical, but I almost found it too precious considering how Wonka ends up in the book and old movie lol. Being a recluse all those years really did a number on his mind, I guess.

This needs a sequel

How dare you.

What I found amazing was how Wonka instantaneously created his chocolate factory in the castle using his pure imagination. An imagination so powerful that the Oompah Lumpah was completely caught up into it. That with the song this last scene truly remarkable and yet totally convincible! Bravo to the actors and producers of this film. This is a film I will see time and time again. 🤗

Loved this movie.. Timothee did a brilliant job. And wasn't it Einstein who said "Imagination is more important than education." We live in a beautiful world. :)

This actor did a fantastic job as Willy Wonka. I could see he created an even blend of Gene Wilder's whimsical nature, coupled with Johnny Depp's child - like and cunningly tactical brilliance, with his own flavour thrown into the mix. He obviously did his research during the production of this film.

Timothee is cute and all, but nothing can replaced the perfection of Gene Wilder. And I don't care for the CGI.
