Magma cream farms are so slow. Back when I was looking at this I think I calculated it would take a week of running the game 24/7 to get as much magma as mining does in an hour

Soul Soil would have been faster to collect for me in my survival world than looking for Magna blocks for two o three hours. :I

I get to see soul soil and soul flames be used instead of ugly magma blocks, i see this as an absolute win

definitely gonna try to incorporate this into my existing two dimension farm, getting the piglins to run into the portals would be insane, or even just into a dropshoot that pushes them into the portal

6:28 what are carpet hoppers

If you place a hopper beneath the rail the minecart snaps to, it will only work if the hopper cart has at least one item in it. (tested in 1.20.4 single player) btw increadible design. It is so much simpler to build.

Lava to handle the XP is probably not necessary in 1.17+, since XP orbs can stack up indefinitely, if they have the same XP amount and entity ID mod 40. (i.e. you should only get 120 of those stacked XP orb entities)

very very cool farm design. I have a self-imposed 1d mob farm rule haha so I will def be building this, tysm! edit - the default bedrock texture is v noisy and causes a lot of pixelated compression fuckery, u could use a texture pack to fix this.
