Anno 2016 affetto da Depressione Maggiore....un giorno risuonarono nella mia testa queste note di Bach non so come mai. Purtroppo iniziai la cura con Psicofarmaci Fevarin Depakin e Xanax che attenuavano soltanto l'ansia e gli attacchi di panico e mi hanno fatto abbassare la vista, perdere i capelli e ingrassare di 32 Kilogrammi. Dopo 6 anni ho lasciato tutto e sono diventato una roccia perdendo 32 Kilogrammi in 8 mesi. Non ho mai Bestemmiato in quei 6 anni di Inferno in Terra...Dio sarà o non sarà stato ad aiutarmi non lo so ma di certo posso assicurare all'intero Genere Umano che Bach con la sua Musica Divina mi ha aiutato a sconfiggere la mia Depressione ❤😊 Saluti da Lecce South Italy Baroque City 🏖 🕍 ⛪ 😎 🙏 ✨ 🌌🌅

Its da dilida didadida not da lida . . . I guess modern players couldn't make out the faded glisses, staccatos and arpeggios Bach intended. Its like my hearing was blanking out. Unlistenable

I was so fascinated by the piece of music and looking for various versions of performance, among them, this is the one I liked the most❤

I've said this on other posts; the scientist Carl Sagan said when he was part of the team deciding what recordings to put on the gold discs attached to the Voyager spacecraft said "we could put the complete works of Bach on them but that would just be showing off!" So true...!

Every time I hear this wonderful music my mind immediately takes me back to when I was 11 yrs old at my Secondary school and filing into our School’s morning Assembly with my class mates. It was one of many pieces of music that was regularly played by our Science Teacher, Mr Morris a gifted pianist who later encouraged me to learn playing the piano. He made a great impression on me as a child and developed my interest in classical music and science that has remained with me all my life. He introduced me to the works of JS Bach and other great composers, for which I will always be grateful.
