I know this video is old but Im having this issue with my 09' acadia. I like the car but the engine is junk, non stop issues one after the other. I'll never but another GMC ever with the 3.5L in it.

I have that issue on my 08 Silverado. How do you trouble shoot if it is the sensor on the column and not at the wheels. I am going to pull the rotors off to check for rust and sensor is not dirty at the wheels. Thank.

Hey maní had these light come on did your truck run bad or did you just have the light on but truck ran good? Because I know it can also be the and sensors.

Did you have to disconnect the yellow connector harness for the airbag?

Thanks for the video, i cleaned that steering wheel sensor connection with some electronic cleaner and it worked great. No more stabilitrack and service brake system error.

Boy did i do that wrong 😂 i cut the shaft with a metabo and slipped it on and welded it back in place, Dam welders 🤦

Can you share a new link? This link doesn't work anymore. Also, I have a 2017 GMC Sierra that I'm getting the "Service Stabilitrak" and "Service Trailer Brake System" notifications. Do you think this would fix that too?

Could this work on a 08 Silverado

So mine worked fine until I had front end done including the steering box. The steering wheel was spun around and broke the clock spring. I had an airbag light and the stabilitrack. So the airbag light is fixed but the stabilitrack light is on still. My question is would spinning the steering wheel break that steering wheel position sensor or throw it off even? You think I should replace it still? I have a 2013 Silverado Duramax

What about if i am getting that message(stabilittrak) and its then turning off my truck when i try to turn, is it still the sensor? When i turn the truck on again it turns on with no problem and runs good any feedback? I am about to go do the diagnostic test at chevy bc idk if its just the sensor or something bigger.. just got this truck 2014 with 41k miles on it

C0710-00 STEERING WHEEL ANGLE SIGNAL

My boss has been fighting this issue forever with his 2010 to the point dealerships have given up on it. Its bad enough it randomly goes into limp mode and he has to take the battery cable off and hard reset it. I'm not sure if they've tried this yet. Anyone else have it this severe and this fixed it? Thanks

Just put a new sensor in, and it didn't change a thing. Still have stabilitrak off and abs light on.

Could this bad part possible be causing my Sierra 1500 to lose power steering and stall ONLY when pulling in somewhere, slowing down, turning the wheel sharply to park? I'm hoping so??

My 2014 silverado was repaired free by the dealer because there is a recall for this problem. All it needs is a re-programming of the ECU.

I lifted my 2012 GMC and they didn't place the ABS sensor line back and it was rubbed by tire, exposing and cutting the wires, hence the dash lighting up... Check those too before changing stuff...

Same directions for a 2014 sierra?

My Tahoe shows the stabiltrack and service traction control and solid engine on dash I changed sparks coils and wires not sure where to go now it only shows up in cold wet weather any ideas please let me know thank you

If the clock spring was gone then you would get a code for that also problem I'm having is I have zero codes for any of it but does show ABS fault and traction control fault but the lights only come on once in awhile if I shut the truck off and then back on and drive it they're off this didn't start happening until I change the front brake pads All four wheel speed sensors are reading perfect and the steering angle position is reading perfect
