this scene actually pissed me off. everything maria may have done to him, he’s done to other people (if not worse). he was horrible to the inmates during season 4 (for example: breaking taystee’s watch for no reason) and let’s not forget how during a conversation with bayley he admitted to raping then killing a girl and forced a random innocent boy to juggle hand grenades until they blew up in his face out of PURE BOREDOM during his time in afghanistan. i have no sympathy for this character whatsoever

Good scene... i read abook last year about John Loneghan the governer of mountjoy prison in ireland. Hes retired but in the book he said tgere was a radio show between prisoners and victims of crime. It was learned that the perpetrators don't think about their action of the crime until afterwards of the incident
Dixon’s character development was phenomenal. He went from the douche bag of a guard who didn’t give a d*mn about the inmates, who saw criminals as people beneath him, now to a Max Guard who actually made a friend who happened to be an inmate (Pennsatucky), to opening up to people and showing a sensitive side. Even in the last episode he helped Suzanne face her fears and Sing a song at Pennsatucky’s memorial.
