it actually in Islamorada, but we don't travel a lot in the MystiC because we use it more as a floating home at the dock. WTF is what we travel in.

@Juan-oy3fo YES....but houseboats don't do well in rougher seas. if cruising in open water it's best to pick good weather days

What did it cost for fuel to do your 600-mile trip? I would assume twin big blocks are thirsty. Great videos!
@hatzic860 yes very thirsty....and neither motor was running good. about 1.5 mpg but getting just over 2 mpg now that they are tuned and repaired. Think it was about $2500 but now the trip would cost about $1800...OUCH

@lesb3481 There are more to come.....I'm shooting next week on getting the bottom hydro cleaned and zinc replacement. We are planning a couple day trip on her also which should provide some good footage.

@bryancaromunoz5116 I guess you could look at it that way!!. It's a liveaboard marina which makes it a 200k floating condo with a view and entertainment. We love it here and could not be happier with our very own footprint here in the FL Keys.
Tip you already know... A better boarding system. Most deaths and injuries happen while trying to board the boat. A lawsuit would take your dream away really fast.

Best Day Ever! Spending the day on the wather with the Salty Bushwacker was a fantastic ending to our vacation. Who would have guessed that just by stopping to say Hello, would land us a VIP tour! Evertything we did that day was fantastic and Keith is an excellent Captain. He knows the water and his boat like the back of his hand. I can't describe how awesome it was flying through those mangroves and exploring Toliet Seat Cut with the dolphins. We were totally the COOL KIDS that day. And not to mention the Sea Biscuits!!!! If you ever get a chance to go out with the Salty Bushwacker- DO IT! You won't be sorry! And be sure to stop by the Lorelai and try a Salty Bushwacker. It is really a thing- created by Leslie! Thanks again Keith for a FANTASTIC DAY! 🌴🐬🦞🍹

if your looking for a houseboat, the only houseboat rental I know of is at Bud n Mary's. As for resorts go it all depends on your budget and wants. Chica lodge and Islander are a little pricier resorts, but amenities and views are awesome. Breezy palms is a little more affordable with a awesome view.
