What about biochemical engineer, biomedical engineer ,marine engineer, industrial engineer, etc……?
The computer science world is exploding! But in a negative way...
Python is a waste of time. It’s like learning t ball and trying to get a job in the major leagues. The C languages and Java is a must.
A walk in the park😋
I start my career in computer engineering 6 years ago i was begginer, 2 years later i decide to become it network technician ones i got the basic concept. But looking forward what i learn over the years helps a lot
how can I. go in this field is jee is going to help me in this or not
I have gave entrance test f university and got addmission in mechatronics engineering, that is lovely field better than computer science engineering ❤
I enjoyed the video, I wish you mentioned the programming languages they work with.
You can do embedded with almost any language you want. C and C++ are probably the most common, but you can now buy microcontroller boards for which Python implementations exist... if you are willing to live with the performance hit. If you want to "go tribal", FORTH and assembly language are fine. They are easier than you think, even for fairly large projects.
I'm curious does Computer Engineering have any difference in Computer Engineering Technology?
I would have loved to watch this video a few years ago. I am passionate about this. I am actually in my last semester of aerospace engineering. I must say that all of this is true. Just keep one thing in mind: the industry is very small, so working in the field you want to be in may be very difficult. And the pay may not be fair.
Thanks for chiming in! Appreciate your perspective.
I think it is good kind of engineering because here you can learn computer in both hardware, software, and network all together. Not just building app or website
this is what I’m studying in college. Computer engineering seems to have basically limitless applications. so many interesting things
You forgot another major employer…the U.S. military…the Air Force and Navy use tons of engineers…most pilots are trained as aerospace engineers…and are officers…yes, it’s a challenging but the military does pay those bills and you also end up having connections to get that job. There’s the reserves and air national guard and civilian contractors as well.
I am a structural engineering but I swift to power turbo design. The engineering foundations are the same.
Im confused, should i choose btech in mechatronics cuz i ilike it or not cuz its relatively new field and i don't know about its jobs and salary stuff
awfull sound sytem .i can bearly hear what r u saying .
I want to work for US Space Force
thank you very much..
I wanted to do this
I want to become a Modern Embedded System Engineer
Can a mechatronics engineer pursue automobile manufacturing or there is only robotics?
Now google about FPGA and your life is totally gone 😂
please do a video so you want to be a civil engineer please
You could just study a robotics and mechatronics engineering beng or meng at uni, it likea combined degree
So anyone wants to be the joke of engineering majors?
Why does everyone forget controls and network engineering?
❤
This channel deserves more subscribers ❤️✨
This video really simples it out. Nice one
i'm thinking about doing something similar, but not with EE, but with MSE
Could you do one for VLSI Enginnering?
I love rockets
Yes
Ya, these are super different fields, and it annoys me to no end that people think they are the same. Like, an Electronics Engineer absolutely can not do the job of an Electrical Engineer and vise versa.
I did undergrad in CS/IS I worked in IT/mobile device repair pretty much since 2011, then5 years in Identity Access Management and now I’m a data analyst in institutional research. Would Mechatronics be a sensible next move if I want to put these data and development skills to use with some engineering
What type of engineering to mechanics electronics and robotic and electric engineering
I work at one of the aerospace giant and here's my 2 cents. I know aerospace engineers who works as a data scientist, systems engineer, safety analysts, etc etc. I think it's not about what engineer you are but how good of a learner and problem solver is one should aim for! If you are innovative problem solver, quick learner and collaborator, you will shine in any industry.
Semiconductor?
My aerospace engineering reality check, was when I came to accept the reality in my late 50s that I was never going to be an aerospace engineer due to my making the mistake of being born dyslexic with no educational support intervention during my formative school years in the 1970s where I was only able to achieve being in academic failure. Which made it very easy for me to meet the common practice in my local school system in Detroit, were academic failure children and teenage with learning disabilities like myself was thrown away like garbage. On a positive note: after being reduced to only being qualified for General Labor and the Janitorial profession. I decided to turn my engineering dreams into my model aircraft building hobby. And here's a link to one of my recent model aircraft build project th-cam.com/video/91UzjuV-8nw/w-d-xo.html:, If you're interested in see what I'm capable of doing in addition to being an academic failure caused a learning disability like dyslexia etc. Also, here's another link: th-cam.com/video/cBIK0XVPbXo/w-d-xo.html to a video on dyslexia if you would like to learn a little more about that condition, that's good for robbing folks of their engineering future dreams etc. I'm in my 60 now and I will admit it still hurts to know that I will never get a chance to be on an engineering team working on a Spaceship design or Spaceship build at NASA or any other engineering company! I do apologize, if I come off too negative because that is not my intent. I hope something positive can come from what I'm sharing so the Next Generation of folks challenged by A learning disability like dyslexia won't have my story to tell. My hat is off to all those that have presently become engineers and I hope you have much future success!
am i too late? i am currently 2 years in my college career and focusing on actually taking computer engineering as my major. But I will start calc 1 this next semester. Am I too late? and if so how far behind am I? and what tips do you guys have with past experience on how to catch up and finish strong. Thanks!
We recommend talking to your college advisors to find the best path to finishing computer engineering. There is always a way to do so but different colleges will have different requirements and timelines, so make sure to ask them and also personally research the timelines & requirements for your school 👍
hey guys, just wondering how do i get started? I currently am taking basics class to transfer to uni for computer engineering. Do i need to start getting ahead like arudinos? coding? cs50 free class etc, please do let me know! Thanks!
Get your math and physics done
Im still 13y old but I’m thinking about my future and this was my dream job and this makes me understand the meanings of computer engineering ❤️ ty this really helped
Criminally underrated video. Studying mechatronics myself, procrastinating finishing my final technical report on a robot! If any aspiring engineers read this, lemme tell you there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. It took me an inhuman effort to get through years 1 and 2, but when we finally start making designs in year 3 (despite it being even HARDER than the exams), the projects are so fun that it makes me excited to work all the time. But report writing blows :/
If you want to become open for electrical engineering career paths as a current student finishing his CS undergrad, should you do a masters in electrical engineering or a second bachelors in electrical engineering so as to get the electrical side of things?
APTITUDE.....
I didn't understand much about the part about choosing your classes at uni. Can people really choose their courses at uni somewhere? I've never seen a uni that lets you choose courses.
Yes! So depending on uni and degree, you have more or less freedoms. For example computer engineers have elective classes and they could take many more embedded classes described whereas mechanical engineers would probably struggle to get these elective/higher level courses OK'd by the uni to apply to their degree. Hope this helps
ill be back after 5 years when am finished 😊
this is nonsense.
What's nonsense about this for those of us who do not know? What's the truth?
With AI writing more and more code/doing software design, this may be the wisest option going forward.
I want to study engineering and do entrepreneurship. Interested in mechatronics engineering but there are few university which offer this program . What should i do ? . I will join bachelor . I am international student. Please help me😢
Do you have the option to do electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering? I'd recommend one of these and learn the rest on your own 👍 Good luck!
