What Entercomm/Audacy did to the World Famous KROQ was an outrage. They took the iconic L.A. radio station and flushed it down the toilet within 2 years by changing a tried and true format and dedicated and talented DJs that were an endearing part of the L.A. community. Hopefully it's not too late for the amazing Kevin Weatherly to turn it around.

As a retired Army Infantryman, I served from 1983-2009 and from the things I heard from my NCO’s that were Vietnam era Infantrymen, fighting there was the WORST environment a Grunt can be in. Not being able to see more than 3 feet in front of your face makes things a lot harder than you’d imagine. Part of Vietnam wasn’t that bad as seen in the movie “we were Soldiers” but it was only a small area in comparison. And I can speak from my own experience that very white men like myself is not genetically attuned for hot, humid conditions, it sucks constantly. I’m great with Siberia temperatures but no way in hell do I like jungles, especially the bugs, the bugs in Vietnam are wild, HUGE centipedes that can nearly kill you if they bite! Then there’s tigers, now and then a tiger would attack an Infantryman on patrol. So given all that, I would’ve thought twice about joining but I knew if a conflict broke out, it’d be either Western Europe or somewhere in the Middle East like Iran. I did fight in two wars in the desert and yes, they sucked but nothing like Vietnam. If you see a Vietnam Infantry Veteran, give him a hug or firm handshake and tell him “you did your job well Soldier, welcome home!”. Because how they were treated by liberal Americans borders on treasonous and I refuse to say anything nice about “Hanoi Jane”, she made her bed and she can sleep in it until it’s time to face Christ, maybe someone will forgive her if she genuinely asks for it.
