Great list and reasoning. Only thing i disagree with is Loki should be in B tier. I feel like people dont set up his clones correctly, so ppl think his healing is bad. Aoe damage and healing in basic attacks is so good along with his runes that can cover a wide area. His ult can completely change the game if you know the characters, and who to transform to. If you consider his ult he has 3 “escapes” . I think people are underrating him.

Black Widow, Storm, and Wolverine are D-Tier. One could argue Peni needs to drop to C-Tier since beta skippers are figuring out the counterplay. Besides that, great list and I thumbed this video up.

I don't think you really understand tanks role. Groot and Venom are easy A ranks imo. Venom has so much mobility/self-sustain that he will always gain the enemies attention and safely initiate fights/combos with free get-out-of-jail abilities. Groot as a tank makes space like no other and should be respected as such. The enemy cannot free willy-nilly go after Groot without potentially being cut off from the rest of the team for a free pick.

Couple things to keep in mind, this list is my opinion, i did try to look at what the current top 500 players are running in games and saying, but it's still my opinion. Also if a hero you think is good isn't in S tier that does not mean i don't think they're good A and B tier are still very viable and good in ranked and high A tiers are very close to being S. I did try my best to future proof this list, so characters like iron fist who seem really strong right now i don't think will be once more people learn how to play against him. After playing and watching some more i do think Groot should be B tier and Moonkight top of A tier (if his ult was a bit better he would be easy S) scarlet which somewhere in C tier (was a little to harsh, there are things you can do to make her ult work well and her alt fire is very strong) And Hela is S tier 100%

Interesting to see others tier list. Been playing ranked and my friend plays venom and he claims venom is one of the best. I’m wondering if everyone just play everyone differently

No move speed shoes? I’d rather take some plus 5 move speed piss shoes than take in no move speed shoes. Only like 100 gold. Getting walked on by a ranged character/out spaced because low move speed is a drag. Especially considering the use of the double axe.

Wolverine needs a hard rework. Way too squishy for wolverine. If his passive is reset every 30 seconds instead of 90 seconds, he would be better. Also wall climb

Loki placement aside (he’s B AT WORST), this list is possibly the most accurate for the non-professional player I’ve seen so far. Oh, and the Iron Fist take is also kinda bullshit, especially for console.

It’s REALLY worrying that the game just came out and we already have extremely glaring issues once you look past the honeymoon. We ALREADY have an extreme healing problem and seasonal buffs are an obvious dogshit idea. The first patch might be crucial for the initial boom of the game to actually stick. Also, I’m worried the dev team will have a hard time communicating properly with the playerbase. They’re a Chinese company, after all.

Moon knight is 100% the best character in the game atm, if you play an off angle and hit your ankh then you just get free kills. Even 1v1s he has a significant advantage because of his ankh. I've gotten grandmaster by playing moon knight like 90% of the time, he's BUSTED.

Glad to see BP getting respect on his name, I was so happy when ppl had him F tier but I was cooking on him with the S D S D K D combo. Hopefully not too many ppl start playing him 😁

coming from a vanguard main 1 game away from plat (not saying im good just saying ive played a good amount) i disagree with your ranking quite a bit. mine are: 1.Groot 2. venom 3. strange 4.penny 5. magneto 6. thor 7. cap 8. hulk

Scarlet witch ult is good when magneto shields or you do it behind a wall before approaching nearby enemies

Best tier list I've seen so far, at least for ladder play. Glad to see people finally figuring out how strong Cloak & Dagger is. Their kit is so stacked and the ult is legitimately broken. Mantis + C&D is gonna be the meta support duo imo.

Groot and Peni do have a specific spot, they have the potential to be A-tier on Domination maps when you have to defend a static point. But I wouldn't pick Peni on attack or on escort. Groot, on the other hand, can reposition his walls dynamically and do a decent job on escort maps. In both cases, they are good when paired with a Dive tank, like Venom or Captain America, who can go wild on the ennemy backline.

8:30 I don't think Scarlet Witch is that low. You seem to be talking about a bad scarlet witch ulting in front of 5 enemies or a bad Scarlet witch vs good players. Scarlet witch literally has a get out of jail button, and small missiles. And any good scarlet witch player would ult behind a wall, then come out, or ult very high ik the air. Her ultimate also has synergy with shields, Dr. Strange's portal, and healers can literally pocket her animation. Her ult isnt good, but her versatility makes her a high C-tier to mid B-tier pick. Just because she is braindead to play doesn't mean that her skill ceiling is that random random dude in quickplay. Better players will play her better and wont miss a single right click. 10:30 Storm is one of those characters that is a low c tier to play, maybe even a D tier against fast projectile and hitscan, but the value she can add yo a team is probably low A tier. She feels clunky to play, but your mere existence can give your team extra damage, and call down passive lightning with her ability. 14:00 Wolverine's damage is percentage based. You will kill a groot with as many swipes as a Jeff. You need to use the enemy tanks to feed your increased damage, then finish the squishies one his damage is ramped up, hopegully with your teammates damaging them. His issue is that your healers are more likeley to pocket a tank, than a dps, and without healers he sucks in comparison to iron fist. For a 2 tank 2 healer comp he is a mid C and for a 1 tank 2 healer comp he us a D tier. 17:00 Black Widow's problem is that her weapon experiences major damage drop off when not ADS. Hawkeye can see flankers while doing more damage. Her weapon is more tunnel vision and makes her a free kill to any flanker. Her bullet may be sygmificantly faster than Hawkeye, however, you can easily spam Hawkeye's uncharged arrow in a random group of enemies faster than Black Widow's. He can also finish weaker targets easier with an uncharged arrow. Other than that their kits are similar. Hawkeye is just an easier to use and better BW. People were just projecting their Widowmaker ptsd onto her.

Personally i would say that adam warlock is an S tier because the ability to revive your whole team at the front line can be the difference between winning and loosing

theres a few things ur significantly missing not gonna lie. Like having racoon on such a low tier when he boosts arguably one of the best dps in the game by an insane ammount more fire rate and infinity ammo to winter solider lmfao. Also to punisher but mostly for soldier. Then most racoons just throw their revive anytime, i just hold it. That thing can be broken randomly and it gets put on cd so its basically useless. But if u hold it u can throw it at key deaths like ur tank or when ur ally sup or you will die. mantis isnt a damage dealer so putting her that high because shes high is kinda dumb, strategist job is meant to heal their team and apply utility, other strategists do that better than mantis

The best character hands down right now is Starlord. He is dominanting every match Im in. He seems to be attracting the sweaty players rn. Ive seen a few Starlords easily get 30+ kills
