Jethro Tull is one of my favorite bands of all time. Thanks so much for uploading this. This is the tour where Ian's voice deteriorated unfortunately. Great show and once again thanks for posting this.

Wow. Anderson has commented many times on how much he disliked the stage show design for this tour and now I get it. That is very nearly a Spinal Tap level of silliness.

Saw this show in Philly at the Spectrum and what fucking treat. Ian and the lads in great form and had the Mrs.and I pleasantly pleased as we grade out after with the throng. Marty on fire as usual with the digital dance on the fret board, Paul Burgess immaculate on the skins, Peggy providing prodigious plucking and Peter his keyboard wizardry. Melodious Heaven….🎼

The band was at a peak that year - tight, but still with some looseness.

Absolutely fantastic, when I was in the Army from 1988 to 1992 we were sent to Panama to arrest General Noriega, and I clearly recall we were blasting this tune and many others at insane DB's; crazy time in my life.

Das war noch Jethro Tull in ihrer besten Zeit Anfang der Achziger mit Broadsword and the Beast,absolut geniale Prog-Rock-Musik❤😊,da war Ian Anderson in Top-Form,mit Martin Barre an der Rockguitar,mit Dave Pegg am Bass,Peter-John- Vetesse on Keyboards und Gerry Conway am Schlagzeug,es war die Besetzung für Jethro Tull mit einem Top-Album von 1982,great!❤😊😊

Why was Ian so upset?

I had the luck of seeing Tull five times, amazing!

man, the vid is WAY out of sync with the audio.

Was an amazing concert, was in the front row, bit to the viewers right of Ian and very close to were this video was taken. Great version of Thick as a Brick. Made eye contact with Ian several times. The whole band was great that night, seemed Ian liked that we were enjoying the show. Let my friend take pictures of the band during the concert. We drove for 3 days from Colorado to make it for the show. The Stampede Coral was a small venue, sold out at about 7,500. Tull has made quite a few trips to Calgary over the years thankfully. Thank you for posting Mr. Ian Anderson.
