Green Bay Summer Walleye Fishing!!!

On today’s episode, we headed up to Green Bay in search of some summer walleyes! After a slow morning trolling flicker minnows in 10-12 feet with no action, we moved to 30 feet and switched to crawler harnesses and had instant action with walleye and white perch. Enjoy! Cane Bed Fishing for Walleye on Lake Poygan!!!

On today’s episode, we only had a limited amount of time to fish in the morning and decided to head to Lake Poygan to take a shot at fishing cane beds for walleye. We decided to pitch a nightcrawler on a 1/4-1/8th jighesds and try to get as close to the beds as possible without snagging them and had a pretty decent day until we ran out of bait. Enjoy!

Prespawn Walleye Fishing on Green Bay!!! (Oconto)

On today’s episode, the boys took a trip up to Green Bay out of Oconto and absolutely put the hammer down on lots of quality fish! The baits of the day were a purple Vrod (3/8 oz), a gold Vrod (3/8 oz), purple JB customs hairjig (3/8 oz). The walleye were biting all through out the day and it was a great day! Enjoy! Green Bay Prespawn Walleye Fishing!!! (Oconto)

On today’s episode, we headed back up to Oconto to fish for some Prespawn walleye! It was a pretty decent day of fishing considering the brutal conditions of hail, rain and high winds. After countering the 3-4 foot waves we managed to bring in 6 walleye with two of them being over 25” . All of our fish came off hairjigs and it was a very enjoyable day on the water. Enjoy! What happened to the shack?
Are those TX-12 church boards?? I have switched over to them and will be modifying them this winter with tattle flags and different front releases. Hoping the flags help with ratting out the snagged weeds that I encounter in the summer, essentially disabling that set-up.
I troll Koshkonong, much closer to home for me. The shallow flicker shads are money. The size limit has been changed to 18", so I have no choice but to keep those 18"-22" fish if I want a sammich. I release anything over 22". Been catching butt-tons of fish 15"-17". Good, fun content.
Stopped watching. Irritating noisy video. Would not recommend. Can build mine without advice that needs loud distracting commentary just to convince me that it is good advice.
Awesome video 👍 brings back great memories walleye fishing with my dad. Been almost 25 yrs since I fished for them. Once he passed away I haven’t been fishing Need to get back at it

What happened? I thought Wisconsin was going to outlaw forward facing sonar like livescope. Livescope will lead to fewer and smaller fish in our lakes and that will result in more slot limits and reduced bag limits. Fishing and the knowledge and skill that go with it are a thing of the past. It’s now high tech ‘catching’.
It’s in the talks but in my opinion livescope in itself is fine. Out of the 100s of fish we tried to target a whopping 7 fish decided to bite. I don’t think it’s nearly as overpowered as people think and it’s going to come down to good conservation practices. There’s definitely pluses and minuses
Who cares if live imaging helps you catch more fish. You are only taking home the posted bag limit and many anglers, especially walleye, are in it for catch and release. If wisco decides they need to change the bag limits then so be it but live imaging doesn’t change the amount of fish you get to bring home

This has always been the biggest wisconsin mystery for me, when i was little. i saw at a mendota boatlaunch a species list that had gar listed on it. This video is the only thing ive seen on the internet that proves they exist in mendota/monona
My dad grew up in the area and used to fish tenny park from shore as a kid and he said back then you’d see them daily, I wonder if they’re not as common nowadays? Im surprised more people haven’t had a run in with them

Everything I've been catching this year has been 19-24" I need to find some of those 15-16" eaters
I’m inbetween, I want my limit but at the same time I wouldn’t be opposed to being on bigger fish all day and releasing them. That stretch we were on has been producing eaters pretty consistently now
Is that trolling or what are you doing? A lot of people complain about a lot of small walleyes on Lake Winnebago but similar to what you said, I almost exclusively cast crankbaits in shallow water at or after dark and most are 20 inches or larger. I live on the lake though so I can slip out there for the 'magic hour' just about every evening weather permitting.
Yeah we were trolling and that’s awesome! I definitely wanna learn the lake more and toss crankbaits sometime

Was this filmed this year or was it last summer? I went out there for the first time last summer with a guide and we caught more sheeps head than walleye trolling crawler rigs.
This was two days ago. We got all our fish trolling flicker shads 6-7 ft in 8ft of water, it was insane!

The longest we went without a bite was maybe 20 minutes maximum out of like 3 hours of actual trolling

I would definitely recommend fishing De Pere and Oconto from shore. Your best chances are definitely to go either early morning or evening as the sun starts to set

Tons of little ones this year. Best day was 60 fish bit most under 14inc. When casting did u drag it back to boat or did pop it keep tip high and let swing back to bottom I only vertical jig.
It was more of a slow drag back to the boat

Our size limit in Ohio is 15 inch and limit of 6 fish. On lakes and most streams. Looks like you guys are always having great days there. Tight lines to you guys.
On the Winnebago system there is no size limit on walleyes

Barton dam located in west bend. It’s a really solid spot when the water is high

Forsure, I recommend checking out estabrook park down in Milwaukee at this time of year, the walleye should be pushing in there
