I can see the appeal but i never will buy one. I mean its pretty easy to hate them, they're overpriced for a small chibi figure with like 6 points of articulation and a few accessories, i saw someone review a nendoroid kobeni which barely comes with anything but still goes for 50 usd.

Try dip in hot water instead of heat gun or hair dryer. If its not hard plastic, the water will work.

i clicked on the video cause i thought you’re pretty and i was very curious as to your reasoning why you hate them. i’m not a big collector of them. actually, i don’t even have any (yet) though i did purchase two ddlc nendos (natsuki and monika only because i thought not much effort was put into sayori and yuri) but im also interested in collecting miku mirai & winter special nendos as well, but i do agree with what you’re saying. plus they can get quite expensive if you miss the preorder and all there’s left is scalpers when there’s no more vendors/third party sites to sell them! anyway it was nice to watch this unboxing and im glad you like them! :)

Respected your opinion until you compared them to Funko Pops. Customizable good quality figures with extra parts, limbs, insane detail, and individually personalized faceups are not comparable to same-face dot-eyed cube-headed unposeable plastic chunks.

I too was NOT a fan of nendos because I thought they looked weird. But later I bought some. And before I knew it, I am a big fan now.

I have all six Nekopara pop up parade figures. They're beautiful. I like the attention to detail like the colored under garment. Most anime figures I own don't even bother with coloring the under garment. I'm lucky there's an anime shop about 20 minutes drive away where they sell replica cast-off figures. Some are pretty bad but they're relatively inexpensive compared to the authentic cast off figures. Anyway, I'm glad I stumbled onto your channel. I hope youtube doesn't demonetize your channel for showing cast-off figures. Anyway, I look forward to exploring more of your videos! 😅

that Ichigo figure was what got me into collecting figures! I love her pose but didn’t end up getting her because I didn’t feel very connected to her as a character, which is important to me when collecting. I’m sorry she doesn’t fit :( that sucks. From what I saw from a bootleg imo I don’t believe it’s one since the paint quality is visibly really bad

Hello Roni, how come your insta was banned?? Elfen Leid was really good and that scene with the puppy was heart wrenching! I cheered when she got revenge honestly. The metamorphosis manga did make me kind of chuckle when you flipped through and most every page was mosaic. There are some hentai that have a real story and are great to read and watch. You just need to find the diamonds in the rough as they say.

A bit late at watching this video, but thought I'd mention that I think they are probably a variety of animals. I think I spotted among other ear types Donkey and Fox. But animal figures are all cute.

I hope this doesn't come off as weird, but I've worked at that store (where you got the Gojo figure) for so many years and I ordered most of the figures for the past years there, and I WISH they had let me talk sense into them regarding the prices. :') I buy my own stuff online too, despite the relatively big discount I get (it's still cheaper to get it online lol, even for me).

The not fitting properly thing happened to me with a different GSC figure and I ended up breaking a piece of the figure while putting it together. For a major company it's so disappointing how lacking their QC can be with certain figures 😒 Amazing steal for an estream figure, the aftermarket on them is always insane. It looks incredible!

It really bothers me when figures don't quite line up how they should. And the lack of a tan line is like missing a part of her character. Last figure was fantastic! Super cute hair btw!

It made me so sad to see how deeply upset you where when your figure's hand didn't grip the rail. I'm so sorry about that. We spend so long (often months) looking forward to the arrival of a figure that when it does but has a slight flaw it can be crushing. As other commentors have said, there are ways to try to fix it with gentle heating, but that is a risk you have to be prepared to take. If the hand not gripping does totally ruin the figure for you then there's not much to be lost in at least trying to fix it. An alternative is to try to rethink what the pose is. As a kid I would often do this pose from metal railings, leaning as far out as I could, but I'm naturally clumsy so more often than not at some point my hand would slip and I'd fall forward. Maybe you can imagine that her hand has just slipped, too. The Rurudo wall art is stunningly beautiful. She draws that specific style of figure so well, and I enjoy how she manages to expertly balance super cute with sleazy sexy, too. That collar and harness combined with those delightful gloves, for example. Union Creative have made figures of a couple of her artworks and I really like both, but if I had to chose then my favourite would be the Angel Police. Do you have any of Rurudo's figures in your collection, or hopes to get one in the future? Once again, it was nice to see the art books you chose, too. The drawings are so beautiful. It was lovely to watch you fall so in love with the Gojo Statue. It's really nice when a collector gets to express their passion for a new addition to their collection. It's inspirational to us all and the joy you had came shining through the screen and touched me. On a technical note for the video, I liked how you placed the items you'd shown behind you on the small white table, just over your right shoulder so that they were still visible as you moved on to the next topic of the video.
