Yeehaw! Good times!
Hey Barry. Yea its fun to get out every now and then. We had fun that night.
Making my mouth water with that Dos XX. And only 8 bucks 😂
@@BogeyBiker LOL. Thanks for watching. I think we already started paying for the tarrif of Mexican goods.
You didn’t ask but that never stopped me…. If it were me, I’d buy longer bolts so the shoulder was longer and then cut the excess threads off. Clearly it’s under engineered and expecting the threads to support the bar is short sighted on their part. Allowing it to have excessive play in the pivot points could and will overtime wallow the holes out. If you do buy longer bolts make sure they are grade 8, just sayin….
@@BarryFerrall Hey Barry, thanks for your comment. Gives me something to think about. That taper was only on those two small bolts and they seemed the same, these bolts are static, meaning they do not rotate, they only have a pull force against them. Makes me wonder why that taper was uniform all the way around unless the taper was designed in there. I commented it looked like crushed threads, but im not sure. Your comment has inspired me to call the company and see if I can just order new bolts. When I talked to the lady at Blue Ox and asked her if the repair kit included new bolts, I was told no, that those bolts were expected to last for the life of that tow bar. I will do some further inquiring.
Hey Barry, I wish somebody had stolen this one would have saved me a trip to the dump. LOL. Thanks for watching.
I had a swamp cooler for my shop in Belton. I had it sitting outside the garage door one day and closed the door to go to a function. When I returned I opened the door and it was gone. I bet that thing is still running.
Here's an idea, Rampage should use an actual wheel chock trolley rather than that piece of junk rocker.
Hey Slking, thanks for watching my video. I agree there are wheel chocks out there that would work better than this one. Perhaps they are patent protected, or something that prevents Rampage from adapting a wheel locking chock. Thanks for your comment.
McKinney Falls looks exactly like it did when I was there when I was fifteen. A bunch of us jumped on motorcycles and rode out there just to check it out. As you were, we were underwhelmed also.
@@BarryFerrall Hey Barry, thanks for watching. Yessir I guess I just checked that place off the list. Thanks for your comment
Thanks for the tip at the end (pun intended)! It will do a much better job of driving that step home than just casually mentioning the step in the middle of the video. I had to make sure to smash that “like” button after seeing that included at the end!
@@MrKurtBergeron Hey MrKurt. Thanks for watching. Yea I had to show the good and the bad. I know it sure drive the point home to me. LOL. Has never happened again and I really enjoy hauling my bike on this thing. Thanks for leaving a comment.
The Grove was awesome. We were lucky enough to have been taken there by Bogey and some of the Rusty Bolts. Thanks for sharing your experience
Hey Terry, thanks for watching my video. Im sure I saw you in BB's video. That video is what caused us to go and explore this place. We were in the area and I saw it on the map. Thanks for your comment.
I just ordered the sensor and plan to replace it on my Terrain when it comes in. Thanks for the video, I think it was very helpful.
Hey Flemion, thanks for watching my video and leaving this comment. Im glad it helped. Good luck replacing your sensor.
Looks like fun fun fun!!
We enjoyed it.
As long as that cable doesn‘t snap it seems to be a safe method.
Hey Evy. Thanks for watching my video. I contacted the manufacturer, and I was told that the cable, (looks like a rope) was rated for 5000# and they have never had one break. Thanks for your comment

Thanks for watching! It was a great day.
You not a Texan if you dont drink Lone Star Beer.
Evidently you havent seen my video about riding the Twisted Sisters, where I WAS drinking a Lone Star. But i guess in this video I am Mexican. LOL. Thanks for watching.
I kinda like that cell phone view, great capture of the day................JB..
Nice capture of the day, it was a fun ride minus the injury. It was great to meet you . .................JB.. PS I subbed !!!
@@Jarvisbiker Hey JB. It was a fun day. It was nice meeting you as well.
It was great to catch up! I’m contemplating heading over to San Angelo state park to do a little camping in the weeks to come.
Hey Barry, Yessir it was good to see you again. We like to stay at San Angelo State Park, mainly because it is usually a strategic one night 1/2 way point stop over on our trips too and from home. There are plenty of nearby trails to exercise Ginger. It is also very near downtown, where there are some good restaurants and craft beer. Other than that, there is not a lot of things to do there, unless you want great sunsets, sunrises and open night time sky. I know you will have a nice stay there.
check out the 3 brothers ride,on otherside of em sisters. from camp wood area, hit the 55,go to rocksprings, hit 674,on to bracketville, get back on 334,at park chalk bluff, hit 55,back to camp wood
Hey Simple, thanks for watching my video. I have heard of the 3 brothers but never knew which roads that entailed. I will definitely check those out. Thanks for the info.
Appreciate to show this last part of the video. We all will learn from this!! Thank you! I'm going to mount a similar system from a German supplier (Heinemann Lifter) on my 2024 Ranger and hope it will do as I hope it will ;-) Thumbs Up!
@@unserkolrep3179 Hey unser. Thanks for watching my video. Yea i screwed up in that video, but yes I am still hauling my bike on this lift. I hope yours will work as good as the "Rampage". Glad that you benefitted from the video. 👍
Hey, Bill. BWD State Park is my stomping ground. I have lived in the county 50 years. I love our little state park! The structures you were wondering about are remnants of picnic tables and bbq pits made by the CCC in the ‘20s. The fire pit and benches you saw on your hike is an old site but has been used as the old amphitheater before the newer one was constructed. You’re correct about the trash! BWD Lake has been incredibly low for many years and will fill up super quick with a proper weeks worth of rain. Last summer the same spot you were in you could have walked out 100 ft on dry ground! We are very grateful for the rain. I will say I know our park usually does a far better job at cleaning up and managing those trails. Thanks for the video and hope when you come back it looks a bit more managed.
Hey Faith, thanks for watching. Thanks for filling me in on the park information. We really enjoyed the park. Our campsite was great and the trails were a lot of fun. Yes the lake was full and very pretty. Also enjoyed the area for riding the motorcycle around. You live in a great place. We actually looked at some lakefront properties. We just didn't find one that checked all of our boxes. Thanks for your comment, it was very helpful.
Hey J's, thanks for watching. Yea Ginger leads the pack around here. They said the lake was running 2' over the spillway. It had just flooded there a short while before we got there. We enjoyed it. We appreciate that you left a comment. I know we're going to catch up with yall one of these days.
Looks like Ginger was leading you astray 😂. Nice CG, love all the old structures and the lake looked like it was pretty full. We sure miss the old cafeteria style restaurants. Our favorite was Furrs. Take care y’all!
This was only our second time riding the sisters, and yes, 337 is the best one. There were about 53 bikes at the start (I recorded it as we left the Walmart) I don't know how many joined after we got on the road.
@@BootsandJeansRiders Im hearing of some more roads around there called the 3 brothers. I will have to check those out next time Im out that way. Thanks for watching.
I'm just getting a chance to watch this. I love it! We were there, too, and had a blast. Kake captured the accident on video. I was with your group, three bikes ahead of you on the Goldwing.
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Yessir not sure we actually introduced ourselves but we did briefly speak a time or two at the event. Man that was fun. I did watch your video about the accident and I have subscribed to your channel. I see its not totally a bad thing to leave your camera going. You got some funny footage. Yall be careful.
Great road to ride, great find to hang out on that patio! Gonna find me that song to download, appreciate that backstory.
DeBa, Thanks for watching. Yes it was a fun route and i wish we could attend a concert at that bar someday. Yessir, Tommy Alverson has a lot of good ones. Its cool to hear that song, then go into that bar and you can really see what that song was about. We appreciate the comment.
@@billcarolstravelproject I appreciate you all. Keep riding!
@@billcarolstravelproject By the way I’m trying to find that song to download, can’t find.
Scratch that. I found it on Spotify! Love that song!! 😂🇺🇸
@@DeBa1226look in the description of the video. There is a link to that song on youtube.
Man I forgot all about Underwoods. Gonna have to stop in there one day soon!
Hey Jack, thanks for watching. We had a really good meal in there. Like going back to 1970. The locals dont really care for it because they say there are better options. I just kinda liked the nostalgic experience. We appreciate the comment. We will be at Midway COE park today. We will be there for 9 days. We did not bring the bike for this trip.
I don't mean to bust your chops but you're gonna blow those front fork seals out by tying it down the way crank down on it...and those hooks on your ratchets can come off it when the suspension compresses on a big bump. I've seen it and it cost my buddy $2200 to fix his scoot when it laid over. I have a Jeep and an bagger I tow behind my motorhome in an enclosed trailer, but not both at the same time. I choose which vehicle I take by whatever the reason for the trip is for.
Hey Jim, good eye on the front tie down points. This video was 2 yrs ago. I have learned a thing or two since then. But I now tie the front down differently. I put a strap around the lower fork tubes and tie them to the bed of the truck. I then release some of that compression on the forks by loosening up on the strap around the crash bar. Thanks for watching, and leaving a comment pointing that out.
Hey Barry, thanks for watching. We really enjoyed our stay there. We liked the trails, and found it a pretty convenient place to get reacquainted with some old friends that live near there and it was fun to ride with you while in the area. They have cabins for rent there. Would be a pretty good place to stay while riding around the area. You don't need a license to fish here from the shore as long as you're staying in the park. Thanks for your comment.
I have lived within 125 miles of Lake Brownwood for over fifty years and have never gone there.
This part of the hill country is very beautiful! I'm from Pearsall TX. , myself and my beloved wife would travel these roads a few years ago! We enjoyed the sites! Lost Maples and the road back to Bandera, just awesome! I called this place the Grand Canyon of Texas! My wife passed away four years ago, she battled cancer! She's in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ! I miss her alot! I haven't gone back to this area anymore since my wife passed away! I think it would hurt me to travel on my own! I enjoyed ur video! Keep on ridin brother! God bless you always and forever!
I am sorry for your loss. It's always difficult to lose a loved one. This area of Texas is really beautiful and we really enjoy it. I hope you find the will to get back on these roads. I believe that your wife would want that. Thanks for watching my video.
@billcarolstravelproject Thank you so much!

LOL. Even if it out performed the Ford, its still too ugly for me to drive.
Happy Thanksgiving. We need to follow you two around:) Y’all find some pretty cool places.
@ hey Charlie. Thanks for watching. Its been awhile. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Kathy.
Bandera is where I bought my Corvette Trailer. Fifty years from now, NOBODY will be restoring a Tesla….
@@BarryFerrallthey look like they are modeled after the old pine block derby cars we had to whittle out back in cub scouts.
For what those lifts cost, I think I would have spent the money on a trailer and a wheel chock...which I did, and the scoot stays safe, clean and dry when I have to take it or anything else anywhere.... And, it's less likely to be stolen if the bad guys can't see what's inside.
Hey Jim, thanks for watching my video. I had an enclosed trailer prior to owning this that worked great for my situation at the time. After retiring we now spend months at a time travelling and this lift allows me to bring the bike & the truck behind my camper. I could not do that with the enclosed trailer. As far as theft, I think stealing a whole trailer with the bike in it would be an easier target than unloading my bike from the back of my truck on that lift. But you do make some good points. I really enjoyed having my bike enclosed in my trailer when I had it. I spent a lot less time cleaning it. Thanks for your comment.
Let’s do this👊🏻
