R/C Plane Crashes into the Sea. Underwater Scenes.

A sunny afternoon flying my electric powered plane ends in disaster when I become disorientated from the glare from the sun. All ends well after the plane is recovered with my GoPro 3 Black Edition. Location is The Cape Range National Park, Exmouth Western Australia. Aircraft, Nine Eagles Sky Climber.
Hang Gliding Sony vs GoPro 2

This is a comparison of the Sony Action Cam and the GoPro Hero 2. Both have excellent video quality however there are quite distinct differences in the color balances. The Sony has a more natural tones especially in the color of the vegetation where as the GoPro renders the color of the sea more true to life.
Hang gliding Dan the Man flys Shelleys

Spent a few days camping at my favorite hang gliding site Shelley Beach. Met one of the local flyers Dan and his lovely wife Sharna (do hope that's the correct spelling). Like me Dan hasn't flown for awhile so we agreed to meet up and get back into the harness. I strapped my GoPro2 onto his Fun190.

Well finally my wonderful summer has come to an end. The first year of my comeback to Hang Gliding. Thanks to everyone for the comments and advice. Hang Glider pilot loses control landing

Recent landing mishap at Shelley Beach. Pilot loses his grip changing from the base bar to the uprights at the critical moment and was unable to recover.

My Bad Take Off Redemption with commentary.

Well after that almost disastrous last take off I make amends. This flight was to be the first with live commentary using my new GoPro2 with mic input. However I neglected to plug in the mic plug and so I've had to dub in the sound post production.

My interest in hang gliding began after I saw this movie. It includes the opening scenes as well as some interesting footage of Stanwell Park Australia in the 1970's. Finally found this. I was about 8-10 years old when I first watched this movie on betamax video format. I didn't even remember the movie title and I thought he was David Chiang not Jimmy Wang Yu LOL. But the hang gliding opening scene and the soundtrack stuck in my head for decades. About one year ago I tried to find the movie title dan the soundtrack on google, I searched for David Chiang's movie that take shooting location in America but found nothing. Today youtube algorithm showed me video about Bruce Lee and Wang Yu which instantly made me remember that I might misidentified him as David Chiang. So I googling Jimmy Wang Yu movies and finally found that the title is the man from Hongkong and I just realized that the shooting location was in Australia not America haha. Then I searched youtube for the soundtrack and I'm glad I found this video. Thanks for uploading this, you brought me my happy childhood memory again 🤗
I used to own a fluorescent green Moyes GTR from Australia, it was Steve Moyes's personal glider after he left it here after a competition. One of my favorites.
