My transit mk7 2.2 duratorq engine has slightly different configuration. The electrical connectors are different and at the front, not the side. And the return rail is on top of the injectors, not at the side, and has different connectors.

Hi I have just taken my engine out on my ford transit (it's a 2.4 model) I got a Haynes manual and it says to measure crankshaft endfloat with DTI Gauge, is this a necessity? Thanks

Good Morning I have followed your guides on rebuilding the transit mk8 2.2 but when tightening my cam carrier, the exhaust cam is going tight. I'm using the original cams, head and carrier but it's still tight. I got no evidence of burs, have cleaned everything but just can't work it out. The head was torqued correctly aswell, I'm totally baffled. What torque do you tighten the cam carrier bolts to?

Thank you for this. I've lubed mine up before i fitted it . Someone didn't put a sump gasket on my van and used silicone sealant. Trouble is they put too much on and it starved the rockers . Think i caught it just in time because there was only the brass from the rocker wheels in the sumo and no other metals i hope. Forgive my grammar as I've just had to learn to read and write again after a head injury.

Great videos! I think for most of us, the scariest part is the pump timing. Ive watched the video on the timing chain, but would be great to show the fuel pump and the timing tools and parts in more detail.

I heard that the injectors get stuck on that motor and are a pain to remove. Is it not likely to destroy anything with the prybar as it is quite a "rough" tool?

thanks for the video But If i recall correctly, you must disengage the brakes by some steps while on the steering wheel, than after replacing you need to do it again. Could you give us the details about it?

I have the insignia vxr (long one with the boot) I need to replace the right indicator on the boot and I can get the actual tail light off and I've taken the screws out but I can't get the casing open to get to the bulb....any tips how to do this please?
