Feels strange to say but Edgeworth's original Objection feels more iconic to me than Phoenix's. It just has the perfect amount of oomph and it really scratches the brain in the most satisfying way. Which hurts all the more that the new Objection lacks ALL of that.

This probably the 3rd time you get a notification for this but I think the WAV tuning is 432hz A popular alternate tuning. Doing -30 cents makes it 432.444 so it's close but not exact. And when recording I noticed I had to make stage 1, rumia, and cirno 1 semitone higher when tuning SC-VA to 432hz. My earlier recordings are wrong because I put what the description said. Sorry for saying this again, I deleted the other replies because stage 1, rumia, and cirno made me think I was wrong.

I might do the same thing i made a comment about on the pcb video but also mess with the midi bpm. I swear it's slightly off compared to wav

I have the midi files and SC-VA (very close to a real SC-88Pro) I could change the pitch of the midi files themselves then record them through SC-VA for better sound quality

So if this is accurate to the midi version how did zun transfer it to the .wav version and make it sound the way we know officially? And how do we know how it sounds in the midi version?

rq my takes on the newer voices ! phoenix . im gonna be honest hes one of the better newer vas although i do prefer his old. my only issue is that he loses like .. the strength? his old feels more fighting for truth, his new is just .. it feels so bland anime protag 😭 edgeworth… oh my god. the japanese one is fine but the english one?? its only been like 7-8 yrs. he sounds like hes aged 5 lifetimes. his og one is very fitting of him, i dont know why they tried to make him sound so old when phoenix really doesnt and theyre the same age?? apollo.. where did the chords of steel go?? he sounds so .. boring now. like he just sounds like a slightly different phoenix. ive heard arguments like its him “controlling” his chords of steel but without them his objection is SOO boring its godawful klavin loses all his personality with his new objection. his old one has this odd flair/charm to it that rlly sells his personality. the new one strips all of that from him. that is NOT klavier .. how did his voice unage?? he sounds younger now fsr overall i rlly dont enjoy the new voices they got. the only one im fine with is phoenixs, the rest get BUTCHERED 💔

Instead, because the pronunciation removes the “o” sound in the Japanese name, it is a phonetic approximation.
